Its only a one day show.

MyHermes
I have a history with them of around 200 parcels successfully delivered.. Ebay use them as part of their GSP and I have received 20+ parcels from the US with them. All couriers screw up some of the time including Royal Mail. ALWAYS send items Signature Required. That way the "safe place" option doesnt apply.

Straight through crew?!
Well you know full well Joel that Simon doesnt like to see any thread on the forum without some input from him. I learnt many years ago just to ignore most of them.

Straight through crew?!
Thanks for that Dave Stephen is just having a little "nudge/dig".... cos he can!. All part of the forum banter. Im not going to change it:biggrin: Its Ford "Electric Orange" BTW.

Straight through crew?!
It does work that way. 90% of all the cars in the UK live outside permanently.

Straight through crew?!
Well I have been thinking about it ...... BUT.................. Its still good its the lacquer on the metallic black that has deteriorated . Probably my fault during spraying??? No one would recognise it if it was all black. It still annoys people. All reasons to keep it orange:tt2:

Straight through crew?!
Mine sits out all winter. Its on the road tonite... which totally invalidates the insurance. I have used it a couple of times this week as the Vectra was being repaired. But its not very nice to drive. The paintwork is about trashed now:thumbdown: so I need to do something about that in the spring

Great news Howard. Maybe I should ask Boldy if he can produce a "BodymechZ" style rear roof spoiler??:innocent:

Whats it worth.. Not the car
GXZ 323 is available from Speedy reg for £280 + transfer fees. So as a private sale yours might fetch £250??? The link to the 300ZX with the Z32 bit hidden in the middle is very tenuous IMO. There are lots and lots of dateless Irish plates for sale so finding a buyer might take a while. I like having a 6 digit dateless plate cos it makes doing small numberplates easy. Mine came on my original car at no extra cost so I just keep transferring it to my current car.

Base coat - no need for cutting compound?
Its clear to me and no doubt many other members that you are making a huge effort with this. I would like to help you by making some comments and offer advice. However I fear it might look impolite or heavy handed if I keyboard it. So if you text me when you are able to talk I will call you and try to help. I have done a fair bit of painting on a decent but non profesional level 07778 411568. Anytime is good for me. And Im happy with my phone number in public so please dont edit it out anyone.

Am I going mad? Issue with HEL SS brake lines
Nissan didnt use universal ends did they????
-
Am I going mad? Issue with HEL SS brake lines
I can see from the picture what they mean.... but I personally dont see why they cant just make them with two the same in non universal form.

Am I going mad? Issue with HEL SS brake lines
Si. In your picture..... Top one is WRONG Bottom one is CORRECT. Refered to a stock used hose beore posting You cant.... that would be unsafe/dangerous. Do not attempt it. Better get one undone at both ends and check. Proper brake connetors shouldnt need to be "bloody" tight... just tight.

Car cover recommendations please
Just put a nice coat of proper wax polish on it and it will be fine for a few days...several weeks even. Im not a fan of car covers generally speaking
