  1. Why dont you all just hi-jack my thread..... Im done with it now anyway thanks to Groover:rant: :):):):)
  2. Hello and welcome. Zedworld are not far away at Tamworth for servicing etc. Many of the UK sold cars are now in the state of requiring welding. Lots are also being scrapped now due to the high costs of repair particularly engine/turbo and gearbox work. If you are prepared to travel up to Nottingham then there is someone here who could do the work also. Email me for details. I'm not sure what you mean by "good price". The 300ZX is an old and complex car. Parts and labour are not cheap.
  3. thanks for that. Somebody was asking me to supply one. But obviously they need two:)
  4. Mine is Asbo Orange and Custom Anthracite.
  5. Not to my eye. Sorry. The more welded joins you have the more stress/fracture points you introduce. Was his bending machine broken???
  6. Is there one??? If so where is it on the car and what does it look like pleeze????
  7. I personally hope nobody is stupid enough to pay him anything near that price.:nono: If they do he will have made an obscene profit of almost £3000 just for collecting it from the dock and getting it MOT'd
  8. Yes mate we can see that:rolleyes: I paid half that price for my 1995 Version S slicktop. Na Manual.
  9. Depends on how bad it is when opened up ......and how much an hour they are charging.. Im guessing a full days work as a minimum.
  10. So...... what this means is ... you are actually pissing on yer own parade...... :rofl::rofl:
  11. Best to just drop it in a metal recycling skip..................... ......................................Actually thinking about it that is probably the best thing to do with ALL autoboxes regardless of whether they work or not:tongue:
  12. If I were you I wouldn't bother ;) Its already wet tonite without any extra pi** :D:D:D:D:D
  13. Well the good news is the parcel arrived today.;) But the bad news is I paid for a 48hr service that didnt work.:(
  14. Waste of time for a RWD Zed IMO. Same width all round. 9.5" If you are going to spend that sort of money on a wheel plus the same again on rubber then it is better to get staggered widths and tyres to suit
  15. I havent done a 300ZX but its the same principle with a 280ZX which I have done a long time ago. There are 3 separate pieces for each side. Arch, outer sill return and middle sill reinforcing plate. the sill pieces really need to be done together but the arch can be done on its own. Look at my "for sale" thread for a better idea of how far the arches go. Oh! and a free bump for my "For Sale" thread:D:D:D
  16. So.... parcelforce 48 hr service, sounds good. Send parcel on a sign for basis with insurance all for a reasonable price. And you can take it to the post office rather than staying in waiting for a courier to call. excellent I'll do that........ So I go on Monday with two parcels to send to confirmed UK addresses and ship both by Parcelforce 48. 48 hours later.... only one parcel turns up:headvswal So I have one happy customer who has posted up positive feedback and one disappointed customer who hasnt got his parcel :rant: Rant over
  17. yes Tony there have been several threads about them including a group buy. He has been making them for years. He used to supply Mike and Luke but now sells direct via ebay. i have some for sale in the "for sale" section. Its not a case of "could be good... they are good! He also does MR2 panels and loadsa stuff for 240Z/260Zs and 280ZXs
  18. Well maybe you could remove the flap. Weld in a piece of steel to accept the wide arch kit filler system. It does look good IMO And Ive got one for sale:x: :):):)
  19. well its a buyers market ATM. Small bottles of cyanide are selling quicker than gas guzzling 3 litre sports cars.:) What you have to bear in mind is the fact that 300ZXs are a rare car and you have to look long and hard to find nice ones. Its not like buying a vectra or a Mondeo where there are hundreds to choose from. That one at Tamworth might be OK and at a grand less than his asking. However your lack of experience etc of the car means its better left alone in your case.
  20. I would walk away. that is an NA bumper on a TT. so no airflow to the intercoolers could or maybe already has caused problems. Its a different shade of silver too. That dent will require a whole lot of spraying to put right. Any trader who cant even present the car fully fitted out. Ie with a battery and wipers fitted isnt worth doing business with. IMO
  21. Long and complicated job. its not just an engine you need to change. insurance will rocket as car is then classed as modified.
  22. Whats wrong with the existing engine???? Conversion??? what conversion?
  23. Cheers Paul. I have some Veilside ones to dispose of. They are metal base plates and look well made. Just need to sort out a price etc.
