DIY/Renovation Frenzy!!
Apart from going to work I have spent the rest of my waking hours over the past six weeks or so making a house fit to live in:sweatdrop: Basically I bought a reposessed modern house from a building society as a better (hopefully) investment than having money in a fixed interest bond. although only 10 years old in was pretty dire cosmetically and needed re doing everywhere. My younger daughter and her partner have now moved in as my first tenants. all that remains is to fix up the garden. work on my Slicktop project has suffered obviously and it probably wont be ready in time for Japfest:crying: but in my book family comes before cars. I should have time to put up the odd post or three on here also :nuke:

Just the same as you. I never waste my time by acknowledging low life scum etc. More to life really.

The Madmax help and support thread
But what makes you different is that you read the answers and take the advice.:cool3: Anyway just follow Jimmers advice on the bits to buy. Ie one new brake master cylinder, one new clutch master cylinder. And get a new clutch slave cylinder too. (thats the bit that bolts to the gearbox)

The Madmax help and support thread
Yep! Wot he said! FFS you are building a 500bhp super car. no one in their right mind would re use a 20 year old leaky brake master cylinder:blink:

Ground Kit
IMO. IMO. IMO Not worth doing. lots of coloured wires and gold effect clips littered around an engine bay that is already way to full. Bit of a dated idea really. Gives the car that medallion man look The current look of clean uncluttered engine bays with minimal features and wires hidden away etc is a much cooler look.:cool2: IMO. IMO IMO.

E**ing Customs and Vat people
Now I have no problem in paying vat where its due and if you import items from outside the EU then VAT needs to be paid. OK... I dont like it but nothing I can do about it. What really makes my blood boil is when the twats take FIVE DAYS to stick a sticker on a parcel and release it.:cursing::cursing: Check the tracking info..... FIVE days stuck in a warehouse at Coventry Airport.:gun_bandana::gun_bandana:

Z31 to z32 seat query
Yes we know that! What Murt means is that a 1990 300Zx is likely to be a Z32 also since the Z31 finished in 89. Although there are probably some 90 registered Z31s. Most of us on here know very little about the Z31 as this is a club for Z32's mainly. In 1997 there were Z32s that came with factory fitted recaros...maybe yours... a picture would help?
