Total bypass instructions please.
As the title says. My car's spewing out coolant and need to fix it but don't know how to go about this. I would take it to Jeff's, but the logistics of me getting it there under it's own steam, (see what I did there?), are complicated at best. OR if someone knows of someone in the Dorking area that could do it, that'd be an option!! Can someone please help? Thanks.

Hi, Are there any diagrams/instructions available on doing a full bypass? The pipe to my nearside turbo's leaking and need to give instruction to my tame local mechanic. Cheers!

Coolant leak. Turbo pipe. Advice sought.
Had to have the Zed looked at by the local grease monkey as it's losing coolant. He says he's traced it to the metal pipe attached to the near side turbo. (circled in pic') He's said that it's corroded and that's what's causing the coolant loss. He reckons he could shorten it but is of the opinion that the rubber pipe would be too close to the turbo and subsequently too hot. Can this pipe be replaced? If so, can it be done 'in-situ'? Can Jeff sell me one? He's also said that that turbo is leaking oil externally. Can anyone comment on that? Any help/advice gratefully recieved. Thanks in advance!!

Name whats wrong with your car at the mo
Hmmm! Well, when I bought mine, I knew there was a list of things that'd need attention and some 'nice to haves' that I'd planned on 'working' through gradually but I seem to be perpetually running round trying to fix the things that are breaking that I didn't mitigate for. It's currently sat in my office car park in Surrey leaking most of it's fluids on the ground. Coolant leak from the rear of the engine, fuel leak from somewhere, (stinks!), and a PAS fluid leak to boot. Got a man with a spanner coming to have a look at it tomorrow. He was meant to do it on Friday, but when he arrived he drew air through his teeth and admitted he got it mixed up with a 200SX and would need more time. (I strongly suspect there was a 'Kerching!' in there somewhere!! )

Two in short succession. Alloa and Kincardine.
So was that you Craig, someone you know or do you have pictures from Knockhill?

Two in short succession. Alloa and Kincardine.
I think there was a Jap' thing on at Knockhill on Sunday judging by the Supras, 200SXs, Integras etc all coming from that direction, but I spotted two Zeds. One Black 'H' plate LWB UK TT Manual in Asda's car park in Alloa around 5pm then on my way home saw a torquoise one heading for the Kincardine bridge. Might have been a SWB, but I was busy shouting at the kids in the back seat of the people carrier. (I wasn't driving my Z because it was 500 miles away in Dorking in my office car park leaking all sorts of fluid!! :( )

uk clocks
So, let me get this right........... A set of UK clocks fitted to a JDM car will read MPH but not remove the 112 MPH limiter? A 'chip' off eBay installed will convert the JDM speedo to read MPH AND 'remove the 112 MPH limit? Or is there another chip I'd need to replace?

Dark grey metallic, M25 anticlockwise, J13(ish).
Sunday 1st August. I was in lane 1, you were in lane 3. Sorry, would've joined you for a laugh, but don't know the area and was making for Dorking. Wierd, it was for all the world like looking in a shop window, ('cept you've got nicer wheels!). So, you from around those parts?

I'm driving 400 miles home today. I'll be interested to see how many times I have to refuel.

600zx - Finally back to work....
This is the secks! Top job and no mistake! So what's the weight difference between the VG and the V8? I'd have assumed the V8 would be considerably heavier no?

Idle issue..?
Mine does this occassionaly too. The Senators and Carltons I used to have would do this regularly. It was invariably down the the IACV needing a clean out. Fill with carb cleaner and shake vigorously until the stuff that comes out is clean then lube with a bit of WD40 should do the trick.

Dorking

Power steering fluid leak.
So is it a relatively easy job to replace them?

Still can't get headlights to work
The 'lights' warning is telling you that you've got a tail/brakelight out. Regards your headlights, do you have access to a multimeter? You need to check if there's power there and if not, where it terminates. As a quick fix/bodge, you could take a feed off your sidelights just to get you out after dark for the time being until you fix it proper. Don't think it'd pass an mot like that though.

Power steering fluid leak.
So it would appear that the leak is somewhere around the pot/reservoir as the alternator is well and truly drenched. So is it a new reservoir/pipes I need or could I patch it up with a bit of Chemical Metal or some such for the timebeing?

Changing the Tension rod bushes - easy??
I've just had mine replaced, (Thanks Dougal200!!), and there's a noticeable difference in the feel of the car even on the short drive back from the garage this afternoon. To get the bolt out of the RHS donut, the mechanic undid the bracket the arm and hte ARB is bolted to to get it out past the chargecooler pipework. HICAS arms next!

Carbon propshaft help req
Zedworld Jeff can do a lightweight single piece prop for a very reasonable price. I'm considering one myself to do away with the prop bearing. Might it be worth changing?

red vert m42
There was a red 'vert at Zedworld when I was there a few weeks ago. Maybe, (probably), the same one.

Power steering fluid leak.
The first one could be it as there appears to be traces of a leak under the pot and down the inner wing under the induction pipework. So does that mean a new pot or is it more likely that one of the hoses is split? It's going up on ramps tomorrow so I'll try and get a look at the other one you mention. Thanks a mill'.
