I'm pretty sure they're UK clocks. The MPH reads to 180 and has both MPH and KPH on them. I would assume stickers would only go up to about 120(ish) MPH no? Also, the boost guage reads -14 to +14. The connectors are definitely the same. I'll have a look at them next week and double check the connectors. I might even be able to make one good panel out of the two.

Hey Durant! Was that you I spoke to a few weeks ago outside thte little Tescos in Bradley Stoke? (I had a Frontera at the time.) Yours is the one with the tan leather isn't it? Well, just after I saw you I sold the Funtractor and bought a TT the next day! I've spotted you since on Bradley Stoke Way, (there's a post in the 'Was it you?' forum), but you didn't see me. Am keeping my eyes open for you. I might be wrong, but did I see you advertising the Zed for sale a short while ago? Of course this might all be completely academic as you might not be the same person!!

Nah, the KPH clocks read in KPH so I've no reason to think there's a converter fitted anywhere and, according to the vendor, the new clocks came directly from a UK car. Thanks though.

So I bought a set of UK clocks off eBay and I fitted them to my car last night.......... The speedo sat at 20 MPH while the car wasn't moving and the rev' counter was wound all the way round to 9k and stayed there. The other guages seemed to work fine. Is this a known issue with fitting UK clocks to a JDM car and is there a workaround or are the clocks just stuffed? TIA

Converesly, while I don't dislike the 200/Silvia, they don't have enough pistons/cyliners for my liking, BUT, that rawks!! :gunsmilie:

This is an un-educated guess, but I'm sure I've read on here, (or other), that some people remove the ruber seal on the bulkhead to aid sub-bonnet cooling. This would tell me that maybe air from under the bonnet is finding it's way into the cabin through the heater/matrix/vents. The part of the bulkhead at the top of the trans' tunnel is always a collector of heat, (even on FWD cars, but particularly on RWD cars!!). Strangely enough, that's usually where the cabin ventilation system lives. There's seldom nuch airflow around that part and it's exactly the point you're talking about, so either free up some cold air around there or block off the ingress. JM2PW. (Trying to give something back!! ;) )

Seems to be a bit of a hot spot for Z32s!! :rockon: Dark blue metallic with black/charcoal multispoke non dish wheels. Again, I was behind an artic so you might not have seen me, but I did wave/gesticulate. I tried to catch you at the Aztec roundabout but some tit in a big Merc' Sprinter van didn't see me, (seems driving such a low car is a bit of an occupational hazard!!), and cut me up. You headed off up the A38.

If you don't mind me asking, what was wrong with your original engine?

At Zedworld? Is it worth doing? What benefits do you get? Is it expensive?

I like this idea. Will that 'derestrict' it too? The car's going to Zedworld at the end of the month for a cambelt amongst other things so could fit that in while I'm at it.

Althought he odometer's still turning. I assume it's electronic, but can someone confirm whether my speedo's mechanical or are my assumptions correct that it works off electrickery? Either way, where do I find the connectors? TIA.
