Just had the zed out for the first time since november, just thought i'd give it a quick spin to the local shops and back cos its been stood so long. i'd been on the road for literaly 1 minute and a police range rover passes me in the opposite direction i noticed the coppers were looking at my car as they drove past, i looked in the mirror and noticed theyed put their indicator on to turn off and realised they were turning round to follow me. at which point i turned off and thought about putting the footdown to loose them before they came around the corner, i decided against it and drove at 20mph around the street and decided to head back home by which time they'd caught up and followed me at 20mph untill i was just about outside my door before flashing me to pull over. as i'd suspected they'd pulled me because "they suspect my windows are too dark" he gets his light meter out and yup there too dark £30 fine and 10 days to sort the tints or they stop me useing the car. BARSTUARDS!! now i know my windows look dark but i can assure you a blindman on a galloping horse in thick fog could see through them from the inside. hows about a bit of common sense sit in the car close the doors it was dull weather they could have seen how easy it is to see through the windows. the tints are top quality fitted in japan. and in my opinion are a main factor in the overall look of my car. and now ive got to change them for a tint very slightly darker than my living room window. im well miffed

I earn less than £15k have an half of an heftyish mortgage 2 small kids and run a daily car, ive had the car about three years spent about £6k modding (mostly cosmetic) im managing to keep up maintenance i do a bit of stuff like oil changes yearly myself and so far so good :x:(touch wood) i must point out i only drive it march till october and thats only weekends and on nice days in the week, but its a small price to pay to own a zed :bow:

im thinking of changeing my ICE install and have noticed some people remove their spare wheel to fit a sub. how does this effect the MOT as ive noticed the new honda civic comes without a spare wheel.

hi, theirs a rolling road tuner on an industrial estate near where i live. im just wondering if its worth me getting my car tuned there, my car isnt chipped and still has the speed limiter allthough it has got all the usual mods ie: exhuast, air filter, iridium plugs, and dump valves possibly more. is it worth doing? would the guy have to know z32TTs? will it make any difference to the running of the car? any input apreciated cheers si

i had one of them, a 480turbo, a top motor never failed an MOT quite quick and i was 22 ind it was right lecy everything .. but then all the electrics started failing :mad: so i traded it in for a 200sx :D

i notice theres not many jap motors, ive had 8 motors other than the zed and baring 2 they've all been japanese and before anyone says owt i know hyundais are korean but they look the same :D

im wanting a fibreglass fan shroud does anyone know where i can get one? ive seen a website in US that does them but they only do them to order and i dont fancy getting one from over there. i know smithy does the carbon fibre one but im planning on painting it :( if not does anyone have any tips on making one. cheers si

i drive an hyundai accent mvi(gti version :D ) as my everyday runabout its very reliable and quit sporty, but its like driving a tin can compared to driving the zed so im thinking of getting shut and getting something a bit bigger(in size), i was just wondering what other cars you guys use as your runabout if you have one.
