a few year ago i bought an s13 200sx from a dealer in sheffield i paid £1200 plus i traded in another car. id had the car about a week and had to take it back for the alarm fixing. after that it was never right engine wise and got worse, i got a crypton tuner out to diagnose the problems, it had a sticking valve, took it in to get it sorted it had 2 sticking valves, cracked piston, and SNAPED crankshaft twas fooked, anyway got it fixed, but car was never the same again and about 3 months after buying it i decided to trade it in at a different dealer was then that i found out the car was WROTE off 2 year before i bought it. anyway after a lot of argueing and the threat of legal action i eventually got my money back and the car i traded in. i got some support from the local trading standards. so maybe give them a call see where you stand. soory for going around the barn instead of through the front door but i thought it might be of intrest

i think it has to depend on the colour of your seats and door cards mate, if youve got black id go for silver. ive got cream upholstrey so ive got my centre console flip red/gold/bronze in fact ive gone the hole hog and sprayed the speedo surrounds, air con controls, door lever surounds ect. i couldnt resist it :D

i probably could mate, problem is getting the time to do it, i put all the numers on individually with lettraset, im looking into printing the numbers on some clear adhesive backed vynil, then i might be able to get a few different designs out. i also need some original dials to use as paterns as im fed up of taking my interior to bits latley

i was just clearing the memory of my digi camera and came across this pic of my speedo clocks, i meant to send it in when i first did a few months ago but never got round to it. sorry about the blury pic there white with brushed aluminuim in the centre and around the oil and turbo guage with red cutting across the "danger" levels ie: high revs, empty tank ect. what you reckon?

yes mate, thing is the lightest tint apparentley lets in 54.4%light and legally it has to be 70.3% :rolleyes: which is factory tint on most cars. and what with me getting pulled literally yards from my home and the copper saying "hello, hello, hello, this is a very distinctive car isnt it sir" i think they just want an excuse. but ill see how i go on

Hi, most of you guys know about me getting pulled a couple of weeks ago cos of my window tints. well today i finally decided to get rid of the tints in the driver and passenger window, im gutted! in my opinion, its spoilt the overall look of the car, i know that probably sounds stupid your probably thinkin big wow. but i loved the look of the tinted windows, but i supose its better than haveing to constantley be on the look out for coppers at least i can just relax and enjoy the car now. and a big thanks to slick pete for the windows top bloke :bow: :bow: cheers si

Hi im wanting to remove my exterior trim around the windows and targas, im assumeing they just prize off, but they dont seem to becoming off as easy as i would like, and im sh1t scared of buggering my new paint work, does anyone have any tips on getting them off. also im planning on re-spraying them and the wipers, ive got some black semi gloss paint do i need to laquer them after as i dont want them to be too shiney. any tips most apreciated cheers si

yep! the main panel is cut just infront of the amp and obviously at the bottom of the sub enclosure. although im thinking of geting rid of the spare wheel and putting the amp under the main panel with a window cut out over the amp.

i take it you meen the parcel shelf, its fastened with small plastic brackets on the side of the mouldings where the original speakers are, and then its screwed underneath to the blind thingy....hope that made sense

when mine started spluttering and overfueling it was a dodgey AFM

i made a shaped parcel shelf so i could fit the targas and a pram.... pram didnt fit though :headvswal targas did :cool:
