what exactly is involved in getting it chromed, and whats the cost? i can imagine its not cheap.

sorry about the pic, ive lent my decent digi cam to my mate :confused: the paint looks a lot better in the flesh...erm plastic, its all glittery i used a bit of the flip paint the body shop gave me to touch chips up with.

not got the track set up yet should be in the next couple of months but ill try and sort one out of the shell.

this might sound a bit sad but whats the best stuff for polishing the engine, i cant afford (or be bothered) to get the engine chromed, and i know im not gonna get a mirror finish, but just want it to look clean n shiny :D just wondered whats the best stuff to use and the best way of aplying it. cheers si

ive got a massive scalextrics in my loft ready for setting up with scenery( am i sad or wot) and my mate bought me a z32 shell wich ive sprayed up the same flip red as my motor, :hyper: i cant wait to get it set it up :hyper:

Hi, im looking for a fan shroud but dont want to pay for the carbon one as im planning on spraying it the same red flip colour as my car, would a fibreglass one be affected by the heat of the engine. has anyone ever made one and could anyone give me any advice on makeing one or moulding shapes from fibreglass or any other similar product. any advice and coments apreciated. cheers si

ive been looking for a front strut brace for my zed, but dont seem to be able to find any ive seen plenty of rear ones but i already have a cusco one which is idealy the make of front one im wanting, ive seen the ones on flea-bay but on doing a search on here have found out some are too low to the engine. does anyone have a front strut brace and if so who sells them. cheers si

I honestly dont think there are any boy racer lookin zeds or at least non that you could say were "ali G" material anyway, i dont even mind the big fook off aliminium wings, on the right kitted zed they can look ok. like most people have said its all about personal taste, most kitted zeds have expensive veilside/bomex/stillen kits where as "ali G" chavy boy racers kit of choice is made by duplo,at the end of the day a done up zed will always turn more heads than a lego kitted golf/saxo/corsa at the end of the day a bog standard zed will turn more heads. personaly a like slick looking moded zeds with a touch of individuality :D which i hope ive achieved with mine.

finally got a bit of cash together to spend on my zed about £600, then the fookin boiler packs up :mad: cost of boiler repair £200 :mad: :mad: i was planning on getting the car chipped and boost jets or boost controller, front strut brace, and maybe some nice shiny hard pipes but now its gone tits up cos only got £400 left:mad: and im not sure where my budget will be best spent any ideas.

what did JC reckon to 300zx winning, did he say anything afterwards?

tried that last year :rofl: only messin.. i could do, but its a very small company infact its just me in the workshop and my boss and her mom in the offices. so yeah they probly have heard all the excuses in the book... its just that their all off me :D

right lads,dont think im a skivein t**t but ive been off for a week for the chrimbo hols and due back in tomorrow thing is though my wifes been working all chrimbo, other than chrimbo day so ive been looking after a 4year old and a 7month old baby all week.... its been a bit crap....im sorry but it has :headvswal and the day im due back the wifes day off and 4year olds back at nursery and shes askin me not to go in to work, problem is i cant think of a GOOD excuse other than the usual "been barfin up n runnin to the kazi all night" so just wondered if any of you good fellows had any ideas :bow: ho and cant use the flu one either savin that for next month :D :D

yeah, ive just been watching that. i like the fact the guy called it a supercar, those rims were mingin though. 240z is beautiful lookin motor, i wish i had a bigger garage :( and alot of pennies :(
