  1. eeeeeeeermmm you could say that :whistling: Rota do some very nice wheels, are you keeping it a secret which ones you are thinking of?
  2. thats my old sizes mate and I ran with no issues whatsoever. All I can say is... get some 12" wide ones for the rear
  3. Theres several sellers on ebay, heres one for example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIDE-ARCHES-FENDERS-70MM-KIT-DRIFT-BODY-KIT-NISSAN-TOYOTA-SKYLINE-SUBARU-KITCAR-/300740728992?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item46058b58a0
  4. Yeah I saw them mate, but theres no way I could afford them. Thats mega money!
  5. he went forward to OCT 21 2015 IIRC
  6. The rear tyres are 255s, just a slight stretch lol. :whistling: The picture shows the old rear wheels on the front, but they still have 265 tyres on. With a pair of 235s and a bit of camber altering I'll think they'll look acceptable. Then its just a case of polishing them up so they kinda match the back lol. this sort of arch doesnt really suit the fronts but what other options do I have? Its got the sort of love it or hate it reaction that I expected, and you cant please everyone, especially the sheep
  7. Cheers John! although theres no pleasing some people
  8. thats a shortie :tt2: damn nice though! custom arches?
  9. Theres no doubt about it, a full wide arch kit would look lots better but I haven't got ££££ to spend... my Z isn't the tidiest around, and I'm not scared to make it look different and stand out! Its all slowly coming together and looking unique and just how I want it
  10. haha, I like that! This sorta thing is all new to me, I said aaaaages ago I want to improve the stance and I think now its time... Might have a play with the suspension tomorrow, btw the wheels on the front and the old rear ones but will be having new thinner tyres fitted to get them tucked in :)
  11. Not sure if I dare take it any lower pez, not unless I can get the exhaust lifted a bit... it already hits cats eyes  Is there any downsides to adjusting the camber, I guess it'll knacker the tyres mega quick if it goes too far?
  12. Thanks jimmer, it may come across as a nice clean import from the pictures, but in reality its a UK model that has its fair share of rusty blebs, the whole styling all round is a little wacky, I think I'd rather get hold of another one and keep that tidy, and just make this one a bit on the wild side. :) Gaz - I believe they are copies of JUN arches
  13. Well the rain held off tonight and it was a nice pleasant evening for trying my new wheels out for size  Big thanks to Marty for letting me borrow his arches to help with measurements/decision making etc. These pictures are just a mock-up for now, but its the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to start... RIP my Tokyo Nissan sticker.... and hello sexy 240Z metal badge (not fitted properly yet) :thumbup1: Comments welcome, I'm well aware my car isn't to everyone's taste, and I'm probably about to lose a few more fans... I dont care
  14. I can't afford any more :( lol Trial pics are ready, will upload them and start a new thread shortly :)
  15. yeah got the whole suspension adjustable, and my mates got an arch flarer! do you think that'll be enough without having to look at arch extensions etc?
  16. :whistling: just wish I knew the story behind that front splitter!
  17. does it remind you of this one gaz? pfft skinny dish
  18. thats where my break in the wire was too.
  19. thought you might lol :)
  20. I love my current wheels (18" polished Work Equips) but as they say bigger is better... I got offered a deal that I literally couldn't turn down... so heres what I bought :thumbup1::clap::punk::thumbup::yes::shifty: Old wheels... and the new additions.... and a quick mock-up.... I'll trial fit one tomorrow to see what sort of arch work I'll be needing to do, or I'll just adjust the camber and tip them until they fit under the arch LOL
  21. welcome David... nice clean looking Z you have there! Whereabouts are you from?
  22. very good price! they look in great condition. I must remember to paint my scuttles before my show at the weekend... :)
