I used a trim clip which expands as you screw the integral screw in, holding it in place. if that makes sense lol.

told you it would be an injector :yes: I dremel'd my plenum to get to cyl # 4 injector a couple of months back, it took a while but worth it for future maintenance.

What can I say mikey.... I'm not a sheep like most Z owners... as for your Z... well bugs bunny rang me up and he wants his front teeth back :rofl:

do you own a multimeter or know someone that does? is dead easy, just unplug the loom from the injector and hold one probe on one pin of the injector, and the other probe on the other pin :) The meter will read out a resistance - i.e. 0.05 ohms. I think my faulty one was something like 1.36ohms, which is a LOT higher. (trust me) :lol:

Thanks for the great comments Dave, means a lot to me :) Its a shame that Royal Fail managed to lose my old air filter thats been with me on so many Z's :thumbdown: I guess the only way to avoid it is sending everything by recorded delivery, but when trying to keep prices down I usually just opt for 1st class.

I dremel'd my plenum a few months back on cyl # 4, took over an hour just to get to one screw! check the resistance between the pins on the injector in question, and compare it to a couple of others. My faulty one was loads higher.
