hmmm must be a strange one, the car was totally standard apart from usual filter, exhaust etc.

Indeed! not seen any others like that before - this was on a '92 UK spec model. Something to watch maybe!

some old pics...
Yeah not sure exactly the cause, wasn't particularly rusty but the metal was damn thin! basically it was on the edge of ripping completely through, then the front wheel would have been free to do what it wanted, probably turn in on itself and cause a right mess!

some old pics...
Just found these pictures from one of my old Zs... it developed a creaking noise from the from suspension somewhere, I ignored it for a bit but it didn't go away lol. So finally got it on some ramps -see if you can spot the problem

correction, they are nismo wheels, Rota GTRs have different recesses in the centre ;) Very nice Rob, fancy one myself maybe next year!

Who has tucked their zed away for the winter ?
wide tyres dont always mean excellent grip... some conditions can make it cause an adverse effect. My Z doesn't hide away come winter, it may not come out as much but will still get a regular outing :hyper:

Cheap GTR TT
very good price indeed for an R33. Depending how they have been treated and what mods they have, the engines are near bulletproof. Saying that, someone come from Sweden to pick up my old R32 GTR, and a couple of weeks later the engine packed up. Cheap fuel for ya! ;)

Lovely wide arch in japan

last question, fitting de-cats
are the cat temp sensors basically the same thing as an aftermarket EGT set-up?

daft question no# 00212133424
diesels usually have low pressure turbos, whatever that means.

Tyre pressures....getting them right

How do you get the rear hubs off to adjust handbrake
if its a one way thing (i.e not refitting them) cut them off close to the union, then get a socket on the union to remove it from the rack. Failing that it'll be an open ended spanner to undo the unions, they will be tight though - so allow some leverage to remove them. And put something underneath to catch the oil or it will make a mess! ;)
