Not sure about Z's but the symptoms are similar on other cars, and it would point to the heater resistor. Basically it will blow at 'full blast' in this case setting 4. But with a faulty resistor it cannot resist the flow down to a lower setting. I have a spare one if you need one.

doesnt really say much about it, have you still got the pics he emailed to you? it may look faded due to the camera he used. from that advert it doesnt look a 4k zed, but its a buyers market at the mo so you may get it for a snip and swap some goodies off your other one.

The air con pump is on the nearside front - but if you clonked that then when you turn the heater/air con on the you may have damaged the internals of it, it has a clutch on the pump so it will spin freely when the engine is running but once air con is turned on it will engage.

I'm in the same boat - mine's red and I'm not really a fan of it - so my options were white or black, I think either would look good, but certainly grey would look nice.

I think mine does the same thing, but I can tell from the exhaust note that its the left bank, this may help you narrow it down to 3 lol. While we are on the subject is there any way to test coil packs, or is just a case of swapping and hope for the best?

as vijay says, glowplugs are one thing that can fail, especially in colder weather. You say it sounds like a flat battery- what does it click?

Must admit my last 2 were my main cars and I like the fact this current one is now a 'toy'. FAR easier on the wallet :rofl:

Had my first one, then it was time to step up the ladder and got an R32 GTR, then went back to a Z! Then I lost my job so thought I better get something sensible and tried the dub scene, which didnt really suit me lol. So a swap for a skyline, buying a dodge, a few old fords etc I'm back in my 3rd Z - I obviously cant stay away from them!
