  1. very nice - do you have any plans for it? you'll soon be over your loss of vauxhalls lol. ;)
  2. Was speaking to my mate earlier about this, I don't know why I had the thought but I was thinking of brake alterations - is it possible to fit a set of 4 pot front capiers on the rear of a Z32?? Has it been done before and would it make much of a difference? Obviously handbrake would be an issue.

Have a look on here Craig - its the same engine as the mondeo V6: http://www.btinternet.com/~madmole/Reference/Idle.html
  4. oooh dear... that spells disaster :smash:
  5. Handy post for me too as mines now redundant - thanks. (unless I relocate the switch)
  6. did you bleed the system (topping up whilst going lock to lock) ?

£420  The V6s in them are pretty strong, but they suffer from niggly electrics sometimes. Not a bad runaround though craig, nice one :D
  8. So are you looking at stocking the smoked ones Jeff? I'd be interested to know a price if so.
  9. balls... poncy computer double post :smash:
  10. heres a pic of it - well side on but you get the idea.
  11. Sounds like the complete reinforcement bar that fits behind the front bumper - did you remove it when you took the failside one off?
  12. So was I   sorry Murt you can have the next one
  13.  wish I never told you now! :slap:
  14. Thats rich coming from someone with a car the same colour as dried dog shit
  15. Best of luck with your adventure and may it develop into many happy Z years ahead of you ;)
  16. Thats not a problem, I don't plan to sell it anytime soon ;) Regarding colour changes - its about highlighting areas, (then how I did it) desaturate, then mess around with variations and brightness/contrast etc. Followed by history brush to get rid of the excess. ;) Keep backing me up Alan and it will.... ;)
  17. probably a fair judgement
  18. Woo-hoo I've divided the room!! LOL :nana2: I knew it was a love it or hate it (and I knew a certain someone would hate it  ) but it looks like I'm getting the support and backing that I would need if I was to choose the first colour. I have these visions in my head about how it would look but haven't really spoke to anyone about it  so its good now its out in the open, and glad people would like it ;)
  19. Theres a load here:- http://lmgtfy.com/?q=free+ringtones
  20. I'll try and find the pictures I took of my silver Z engine bay - That was all painted up in satin black and looked amazing. Shame its off to the scrapyard next week LOL :smash:
  21. Thanks for the input guys :) The red is going. I've gone off it, and it would need a full blow over really to bring it back to life. Not to mention I've got new bumpers and things to fit so nows the time for a change. I've thought for a while now that I'd carry out a fairly straight forward change to black or white, but theres a small part of me thats been nagging olive drab at me for some time, but never thought I'd be brave enough to actually go for it. I got photoshop the other day so its the first time I can really compare, I appreciate what isaac says, and that PS is not the most accurate tool around for future projections, but gives a good idea. These pics are the sort of idea I had in mind, but don't burn me lol its purely speculation at this stage.
  22. You dont need to tell me that, I know exactly what you mean and it looks ridiculous. The engine bay will be going satin black - will go perfectly with the other bits I've already painted under the bonnet.
  23. Now my Z is all up and running I need to think about making it look better lol. So I already have the wheels in mind - Rota Grid Drifts. Its having the bodywork sorted in a few weeks time to get rid of the rust patches on the arches, so I have 3 colours in mind, what do you think? I'd be happy with either, but want feedback, as one may be an acquired taste lol. ;) So - as it stands at the mo (check out the multicolour reds :headvswal ) What I propose: Olive Drab Black White Any thoughts? :hyper:
