  1. ..and guess what I bought for the zed
  2. Its good to get stuck in, and I bet Tom saved a pretty penny doing it himself! I bought my car with a seized turbo, within 2 days of it getting home me and my mate pulled the engine out and changed it! neither of us are mechanics but picked up knowledge (and braveness) over the years!
  3. With the exception of bringing my car back from gloucester when I bought it the most its done in the day is about 120 miles. Will be a challenge for it definately! Will be off for a trip to zedworld when its back on the road for a big once over, but I'm excited about taking it on a holiday! lol

  7. I've always wanted to drive abroad in my own car, hire cars are good but I'd love to take the Z over. Probably going to Cote d'Azur, which is right at the bottom of the country. Has anyone got any advice or recommendations, obviously fully service the car and make sure I have european assistance? Is it a bad idea? LOL :helpsmilie:
  8. that looks fantastic! love it  good to see an old Z in the background too pete, you still got both of them?
  9. thanks for the input on this guys, thought I'd update it... It was part of the spring that had broken off, and jimmer was right by saying it was the thermostat housing that was causing the leak! (or 'coolant box' as they called it!) :thumbup1:
