nah the rear plate was disliked by mr police, the lettering is very small but I told him I'd only just picked it up. He was a very nice chap :thumbup:

Got a new Z to add to the family :dance: :nana2: Took a trip over to great yarmouth today to meet Grimmer & check out the Z he was selling. After my bad experience driving a gazillion miles to look at a rotten Z the other day, I was pleasantly suprised to find a nice honest tidy motor and a bloody nice chap selling it. :thumbup1: Will add some pictures tomorrow, I'm hoping for dry weather as I'm spending the day swapping some bits over from my white one. I'm well pleased with my purchase, and now I'm zedded up it would be rude not to attend the zedworld bash :devil2:

I dont want a white one lol... might go look at the black one mentioned in the other thread. a black tt manual cropped up on ebay earlier buy now 1750 I'd be suprised if you missed it glued to ebay lol.. gone now though

Went to look at a Z last night which would have fitted well in my project plans and was a good price as the owner was moving away. It was over 200 miles away and the only thing I didnt know about was if there was any rust, so all I could have done was ask repeatedly over the phone and email if there was any rust. The answer every time was just over right rear arch and he emphasised that it was a very little bit. Other than that its very good condition and viewing highly recommended. Armed with that info me and the mrs set off in her polo for an 8 hour round trip. When I got there yeah, the Z looked and sounded nice but the first place I went was the right rear arch. Big patches at the front and rear of the arch. :taz: I was a bit taken back by this and voiced my opinions straight away, but if that was the extent then I could have bartered the price down. However i got on my hands and knees... both outer sills had 3-4" holes in! f**king t*sser. I offered a rock bottom price as at the very least after the MOT expired it could have been broken, which he declined saying that he had lots of people coming at the weekend to look. A lot of disappointed people I should imagine, unless they dont know what they are looking for and just see the arch. :death: Anyway needless to say I left it at that, but took it out for a spin so at least I've got an idea how well NA's go, and they aren't as bad as I thought. May have a TT to look at this weekend but waiting on honest answers from the seller first, lets hope its a good'un :sweatdrop: rant over lol :closedeyes:
