turned teh key today to move her from round the back and she fired up straight away after being stood for a few weeks, not even so much as a thought of not starting :D sems to be good like that. touched the acceleratior and a horrid grinding rubbing noise came from the engine bay, took my foot off it stopped. :/ i went a bit pale at this point thinking please no you were behaving so well recently. I stopped panicing popped the bonnet and applyed a touch the throttle, noise came back used my eyes and ears the fan shroad was rubbing on the fan. 30 secnds later panic over problem sorted. i think was a turning point.

what happens when you hit 10k is it like the milenium bug?

i think il pull the headunit and disable it from there as suggested keeps it simple quick and tidy

sent my car on a trailor to zedworld back in september, thats right. all the way from bouremouth right up there to the north lol. id alreday had a local "specialist" fart about it and throw soem horror scenarios at me, and charge me £90 for the privailge. withiin 20 mnutes or so of them working on it the major issue was identified and rectified. seriously helpfull people and very good value. cannot recommed zedworld enough. and if you think about ringing a "japanese specilist" called nippon auto spares, give yourself a slap from me. worst thing i ever did to my zed.

the route that takes 20 seconds and stops it from looming over the rear of my car like some sort of chips throw back is fine lol

question is though with the increasing taxes on feul etc will we ever see a rise or will the prices of other simular cars come down aswel as they become impratical, for most people to own? i put about 60/80 quid in mine a month just for weekend luixuary really and the enjoy it, but if those same miles start costing me that a week i wouldnt be able to afford a zed anymore. :(

think the guide reccomds to run the box through the geras when running then test in neutral, theres a cold and hot side to the dip stick. the fluid should be nice and pink and smell like auto fluid not like either toat or candyfloss cant rember. if it looks brown it probally needs changing

its ugly i dont do radio and id like it to stay down rather than popping up every time i turn the key. so where the wire to disconnect. or fuse to pull.

yup same problem tighted the clips stopped it. gonna replace it all in the better weather.

mines around that area alot but its hiding atm and its red. there is a black one out new milton way though
