awesome just drove mine out around the back of bournemouth sort of ringwood way. it was on toop form had me smilling like a kid.

tig can be a douche bag when working on cars, because youve gotta get everything pretty dam cl;ean to keep the weld uncontaminated. lovely way of welding though once you have teh swing of it, allows very precise work. glad things are getting sorted out though.

agree mig will be much better for the job far easier to tick up with. you will find the arc welder very very messy for this job and have little control. arc is best suited for applications where your welding thicker materials that arnt going to warp with the heat applied.

when i had an oil leak that dropped oil on my turbos and caused smoke to billow out from behind teh engine it was most noticable when i turned it off or when idling when hot. so i would assume if it was residual it would be the that you would experience it. n01 question is why did the dip stick pop off, syptom or problem? i would tend to agree that thsi is probally an issue with pressure relief from teh crank case because of faulty pcvs or something of the like. if i understand correctly the sump wil always have a higher pressure than the amibent atmostphere? to a degree hence the need for the "pressure control valve?" (ptu)? :/ so that this pressure can be vented safely and stay within emmisions regulations. if it was teh piston rings would it not smoke fairkly consisently, you should be able to see it puff up from the rear of the car when on the throttle, which tyouve tried with your broom trick. hopefully zedworld will give you a nice simple wallet friendly answer. that might be aload of absolute twaddle im not sure, im pretty much thinking allowed. but if that does make sense and please correct me if ive misunderstood or misinformed , ive learnt some things about engines since joing this forum.

its a uk, well uk rear bumper and front indicators and sidelight arrangement. wortha veiw with your eyes wide open if its close i spose.

merc and the zed its the more realistic suggestion. the zed is a toy and the merc is the realiable long distance luxary cruiser thing. the thing you drive across the country for a weekeend away, with teh zed being what you take out on sundays to try and smash trees down with soundwaves.

my old car you had to flick the feul pump on listebn to it till it primes fully and fills the float champers give it a pump or two and turn the key and snap crackle. maybe a backfire if you poured a little too much in hahaha that was good fun nice shinny inner wing where the oil etc had burned off.

saw a scooby floating through there last time i was there and thought danm i must come back here and do that myself

think your tubs are shagged too 9000 rpm and no boost? that will be safety boost cos of the engine temp then :P funny question tho if they were lying about why is there quate of a tank of feul showing?
