  9. sounds like its low on fluid. plently of auto boxes around as most swap to manual. so there noty big bucks if youve got the time and desire and its cheap enough might be worth a buy. however theres lots of other zed bugs to look out for....
  10. heres a little thought back to my days of webber carbs, i know its not the same but winding the throttle open opn them too long too often bends the butterflys. maybe this was an attempt to prevent the same issue?

  15. a simple loop of webbing with a clasp bolted through the door structure. im sure with some neet work you could produce a very very very light skin for the inside to tidy it up aswel.

  22. 18 months ago i would have agreed. now thio id stick it away save the £200 id sabed each month and then after accumilating a few quid do it myself. there in again if tyour not very precious about the car you could break this one and use the profit to purchase a whole working one...
  23. what else would be needed other than teh block and ancilaries and the ecu? cant be that much more difficult that pulling the block is it?
  24. it wont over run if thats what you mean. when it senses less pressuer it will lift a gear from my understanding. try turning off the overdrive that little button on the stick and do the same, and also try it locked into second you shoudl get abit of over run.
