  1. recived a "new" japspeed exhaust for a memebber which is spot on. there are however afew surface spots of rust popped up like speckles. i did start to autosol them and it started to come up ok.... anyone know a more productive method for this sort of work?
  2. run a multimeter over the injector and ohm it you should get a resistance of around 13/14 i believe dont quote me on that. highter or lower and it has failed open or shut and is no longer funtioning. however check the connection itself quite common corrosion has got inside.
  3. gaz pop down to forset leasuire cycles. my mate used to be the assisant manager, sure there one or two of them still work there, they fitted a bike rack to greg howes lambo a few years back sure they can work out a zed one lol
  4. i have a pair of the clear lense peices never used.
  5. larger rolling diameter rolling disc means larger breaking surface while your right that would be optimised by a caliper that covers the full width. its something i plan to do myself. where can i get those adapter plates from though???
  6. dave i dont mean to be rude mate but im sure people where pointing you this way last week. before the oil change. as i say not being rude just saying....you know. anyways i agree maf does sound likly, many people pop off the trim under the passenger side wiper above to battery to allow excess heat to escape, doesnt normally cause issues. if you have an aftermarket air filter, as you say no aftermarket nose panel. often these will allow the water to do what steve said. im sure and some one will help to claify but if you pop off the maf connection and reset the ecu. it should idle properly, but not rev above 3k mine had this issue a few months back.better still if you coould get sum1 to datascan or conzult it this would show up.

might be worth speaking to mr.f hes generally a fair bit cheaper.
  8. i would do the water pipes on teh back of teh block and pop the plenum off and do afew jobs under there be a waste to pull it in and out then find it drips on the over run or something equally niggly
  9. abs pump in teh back been done?
  10. i dont tink it will be the disk and teh pad, it will be where somethings not gone back toghther properly. is there an adapter plate on the calipers? maybe theyre not sittiong square
  11. could it be that the cam durations would be wrong for example the exhuast side would stay closed too long., allowing too much air into the cyldnder then the pressure would build up beyond the norm
  12. the rears in a lwb are usless for anything but children.
  13. see my "diagram" term used loosely lol. on the previous page :D
  14. well theres supposedly two explanations for the rise of the term some suggest it is an abbreviation. c.h.a.v standing for council house associated violence. the second school of thought is that it comes from the romany word meaning child. call em what you will though townies neds whatever lol we all know the tucked in socks lager swilling shit heads.
  15. do a search pretty sure this has been covered previously what you looking for mostly is a uniform pressure, between each cylnder.
