  1. yeah new ones a few hundred quid from the states...that's why I say if you've got the budget, its most likely jiggered anyways. However you would need to be sure its loom related before you go splashing that cash, often replacing the pig tails is good enough to limp it on. Mines crap, but it does work, I know its coming one day.
  2. Its the cheap slip on spacers that cause issues, proper hubcentrics as said aregoing to be fine. You can go with a branded name such as ebacih.if you please for sensible money.
  3. I for one would seriously welcome this.
  4. yup as above just wondering really. There plenty to choose from from the RB SR clan.
  5. that would be usefull to know actually.
  6. Really if you've got to the point of isolating the issue to the looms, spark or fuel cabling, you've got to make your way back and do continuity tests on the wires, test the PTU etc etc. if it was the CAS at fault or that side id expect to have more than one miss, I'm not 100% how it works but I'm fairly sure the CAS side is 4 connections then the PTU divides it into 6 connections. So logically the issue if its spark cabling related its PTU and forward to the cylinders. If you've got the budjet and the original EFI harness then it would probably be sensible to change it regardless, they get jiggered under that bonnet.
  7. luke ie zcentre and bob lol I think its all unravelled now. - - - Updated - - - luke ie zcentre and bob lol I think its all unravelled now.
  8. Do you mean the ones luje sells? If so bobgenine has them.
  9. Halfords do them yeah you need the one with a long hose to reach the plug. Theres only 3 things required spark, fuel and compression, after that its all down to timing. a process of elimination really. I would wonder if this is a classic issue with the loom, broken or damaged cabling. The injector is good, plugs good coil packs good if compression is good, and all the others are firing correctly its unlikely timing to me that says the signal to the inj es ctor or coil ids duff.
  10. Dont worry il be taking loads which will be up in the evening.
  11. Me and gaz are both doing this rollling road day thing on saturday.
  12. Speak to cowpat matt and japslapper both of them have drift spec z32s the na rear end would definatly be better for drifting.and there is a way to substantially allow more lock.
  13. Yes please if thats cool, still having some slight issues.
  14. You need the complete assembly, the subframe and carrier are different the half shafts are different, damn the propshafts different. You will also have to recalibrate your speedo. I know alot of people like this mod but it depends what you want alot of people moan about I t5 long term as it can make first a secondgear a wheelspin fest.
  15. You have swjcc they meet pretty regular, zed wise the westcountry seems more active.
  16. Still bloody cold here, and yes spring anf. Autum are best summers is full of dicks.
  17. hows the weather looking? no white crap I hope?
  18. as above they are completely different, wrong shape size angle the lot. also take offs would be missing.
  19. Yeah I did some research on sxoc aswel as doing a fair bit of reading about breather systems generally, I've got the valve facing so that on idle its shut, creating vacuum and when on throttle the sump pressure opens to relieve the positive pressure into the elephant trunk. My understanding of it creates larger vacuum in the crankcase so oil is not allowed to pressure against the seals and weap. I expected some vacuum pressure nut not quite that much lol. My only assumption is my seal is in fairly good nick(being new) normally gasses passes the seal and negates vacuum business.
  20. alright bud, did the one way valve trick today, haven't had chance to road test the car but first observation is a crazy amount of vacuum in the valve covers, when you remove the filler cap it sounds like a friggen dyson... is that normal?
  21. They must of being going some.
  22. Random one but if your dropped 30mm could youpost apic or measure the gap on rear wheel arch? I was looking at dropping mine 35mm but didnt know how far it would drop.
