Were you trying to start it in drive? mine stalled when I first got, it wouldn't start, this guy helped push me to the side of the road, I sat there for 10 minutes deciding wether to call the AA then it hit me I was still in drive, popped it in neutral and bang it burst into life, doh!

I read that a while back, think il do it when I do my next plenum/engine pull lol, tidys things up and is a better idea.

I honestly think tahts what it is when you think about most of castle combes corners drag the body weight in the wrong direction causing it to pool in the passenger side exhaust cam cover, which is where the idle pcv takes its feed from. Makes sense when you think about it, then its going to take a 100 miles or so for it to burn out through the system.

Well the first thing to do is start with the obvious, charge the battery fully and retry, test the battery. The starter will click away if the battery isn't fully charged or do nothing is flat flat. Does anything else work lights etc? Other than that id be looking at the immobiliser etc. That car certainly has some electrical gremlins.

I can see what being said on the skirts but I think its a bit of an optical illusion atm because the front bumpers black and the wheels are off.

Now that's an odd statement, I wish I could afford to drive my zed everyday. I have a company van nowadays thankfully, but when I didn't I had a little 1.2 corsa it made the insurance a lot cheaper on the zed as it could be insured as a classic second car and the money saved in fuel was astounding. A little £300 diesel banger could save you a lot of money if you did it right.

Im not surprised either, the zed cost me less than my corsa when I had them both, statistically less people of my age crash zeds than corsas. A skyline was 3x as expensive to insure as the zed, its all about perception.
