  5. Out scaring the cows today then lol. I must admit I was regretting my sorn notification today. Had the roof off in the sun though to air it out.
  6. The area we had last year had the bank for us to pop the cars on and use as a sitting area, ad the front of it is the tree lined main prominard.
  7. That white one belongs to a chap in the states, il find you his build thread later. Lwb is the better format for what you want and cowpatmatt is a semi pro drifter in his. Pretty sure I saw your mx5 at japfest this year?
  8. Bird you should buy Zelda, least then you wouldn't get confused as you'd know where it was.
  9. You will have to leave the greater London area I'm afraid. As said jimmers the closest in avonmouth. As for meets I wouldn't worry it's really not like that, I've turned up with different wheels at the front as to the back, no one took the piss.
  10. Glad you have finally got it, yeah bin the short shifter! Replace the stick bushes and rubber gaitor as well while your at it. (The gaitor splits and you get a noise in 2nd and 4th, it's a big whirry gearbox) Just check, I'm sure it's fine but check the car is charging it's battery, the alternator is down at the bottom so viable to water/salt etc damage. Worth the quick 2 second check.
  11. I believe last year we were in bank field, I will google earth it and confirm.
  12. It's Australian it's it? It's a pure out and out racecar iirc function over fashion sorta job. Bloody light though.
  13. At the firewall are two nuts where the pipes and connected in a compression joint. So no need to cut. With your battery out you will see it. To remove the ac rad and compressor will likely mean removing the water rad and anti roll bar btw.
  14. Z1 would probably be your best bet for a new seal set.
  15. I've got about 20, but I'm the wrong side of the area for you really arnt I.
  16. Is it degassed already? The gas Is nasty stuff. I deleted mine with the engine out so it's hard to advise. I recon the worst bits will be unhooking all the tubes. How far do you want to go delete wise? I've pulled everything firewall forward off the car.
  17. Last years prices where; Adults £10 Children £5 Advance booking saving 10% It's normally around double these prices for entry.
  18. Last year you were able to pay in advance through their website or pay on the gate, I believe there was a slight reduction if in advance.
  19. If any of you are planning on travelling from further a field and staying locally(highly recommend if you've never busted this part of the world before) we can sort out a BBQ the night before.
  20. It's extremely encouraging to see a few of the newer faces peeking some interest.
  21. Actually, this event is one if the most family friendly I've been too. There was access last year to the historic abbey, there was also a flying display by a falconer and the obvious muses With world of topgear etc. My mrs came with me last year and I quote "enjoyed herself" lol now there's a rarity.
  22. Over half an hour with zero oil, tbh that's not bad going.
  23. No worries Si, I recon we can achieve this quite happily.
