No worries bri, I did think about a full delete. However the scavenging effect is very positive. However all things being equal I won't need it due to those anamites we call turbos being replaced.

Lol cos there's no motorways in Dorset. Every time is used it some bell end would merge in front and slow me down. Waste of time. It was ugly and well in my way. Rear wiper and motor and hatch weight won't last much longer I doubt lol. I forgot the PAS pot is being moved too.

Main fuse/relay is going where the ac compressor was. Little box dunno yet probably in the old Aiv spot.

Time moves fast and I've got a lot to do. Empty shelves waiting for parts and a car sat there taunting my inability to get in with it. Time is both plentiful and also running out quickly. As the say spring creeps up on you

Gone so far; AC, CC, PRV, AIV, EGR, CaC Still to delete; Hicas(pos) Still to relocate; Fuse/relay boxes, battery, fuel filter, boost sensor think that's it lol. Oh and Pcv relocate not delete. One simple ass engine bay by the time I'm done.

Welcome. Usual old Nissan rust, these suffer from rear arches and sills due to the design of the arch and the targa drains. Side skirts hide problems. That's about it though rust wise. Mechanically, take it for a good long test drive. Look for smoke from prolonged idle and overrun. You probably know why. And listen for anything odd. The steering should be sharp and light. And if auto the shifts should be sharp and responsive. Long periods between changes etc are bad, tbh you will want a manual though.

Hi from Kent!
Yeah fogs or ducts. On a 99 I personally think ducts look best. The dampers are normally done by the top, an adjustment knob is hidden under the boot lining.

Hi from Kent!
That's a very desirable genuine 99 spec front bumper on it as well.

Yes. :D

Fuel consumption
They reward 80mph cruising. I've had 30mpg out of mine on a few occasions, I've also done like 10/12mpg average over a journey.

Oh i've got to the point where I now find myself going fishing in the most out of the way places, just to find some space. I even use the self service tills to avoid speaking to human beings, i'm quite unsociable most of the time hahaha. Not with most people anyways, with the right people im happy as larry, im just of the opion that most people are a pita and need my personal space lol.

I was talking about this to the mrs the other day, it confuses me. If you have a fast car ora posh car people say oh he's compensating or he's a show off..Why can it never be as simple as he likes to go fast and enjoys driving sports cars? I never take mine out to cruise down town and get looks, I take it out somewhere quiet and enjoy it for me. its weird really.

Yeah my father in law had a manual one at one point, he recons he could spin them up in forth lol. He's had loads of yank cars, most recently a 78 trans am which was a serious kick in the sack. Went out in it a few times, the theatre is amazing but they don't go/stop very well lol. He wasn't using it and they are huge and I was taking up so much space, so he sold it. This one of the reasons why I couldn't part with the z for one, because the zed has the looks but also has the go gos, sure it lacks a little theatre, but in the early hours hitting the corners and building full boost out of a sweeping corner before backing down, you don't want anyone to see you anyway hahaha

Is there a write up for removing a/c?
Its a fairly common practice as its only way to remove the engine without having to re-gas the AC. Unfortunately I have no memory of doing it, must of to pull the block as iirc it was sat on the sub frame. Its likely that gaz did that for me when I wasn't about. (my car was in his lock up when we pulled the block and he lots of bits for me when he had the spare time)

I was so close to buying a black iroc-z just like that, I had the cash for that or the zed, the 5.7l one was hard to find fo rthe cash I had and in the end the whole being on the wrong side really ruined it for me. I regretted my choice after my zed blew up and I still love that shape of Camaro along with the corresponding shape Pontiac. If I could get a 5.0l one or the Pontiac now for the right money id have one in a heartbeat. I couldn't part with my z32 for one though, so it would have to be CHEAP. We should have a summer cruise out through the forest this year, oh wait we already are :)
