skyline 3.5 gtr 2004 ???
The g35 is a nice car however I must admitt that whilst I really liked the 350gt when I saw it first I think it's a bit bland. It's essentially z33 2+2 with less power and slower. Of all the modern ones the z34 is the one I would say I actually like and would own.

Time to fit the miesters. Anything else I should know
Just set the arms up at the lengths of the stock ones, then get the car lazer aligned. There's a tread on here that jimmer set out the difference on the FUCA I think.

May have to break or sell.
Sort of yeah, sort of no lol. The more I drove it the less it got, then it would intermittently get bad again. It doesn't burn oil oddly, as in I don't consume any. Plugs are clean etc. I changed the plug gap up to 1.1 as per FSM and that reduced it even further, Infact I think it stopped it. I sorn'd the car before I could confirm a difference, unfortunately it did result in dett so I've gotta fiddle about....great. Luckily I got a new job as well which doubled my salary, we moved into our first house in November. Next year the cars having a rebuild, well that's the plan, the shitbox house keeps robbing me blind.

Changing the shocks is easy. You only need to undo top two and the bottom one and they will all come out. Removing the boot lining and getting the car in the air takes longer. There is a small nut that holds the brake line captive to the front obviously undo thus too. Once you have the shock unbolted simply push down with your foot on the hub face and the shock will come free. Might take a little wiggling, an assistant Is helpful. Once your ready to drop it back on the groud, make sure you drop it onto something or you may find the jack gets stuck haha. I would start higher then drop it lower as you go, easier to drop down a bit safely safely than drop loads and find it rubs and spedthe afternoon going up a bit up a bit nope still rubs up a bit. You get my drift.

Performance VH's Z32 VH45DE Build
Don't forget guys this is aluminium, the bead is far thicker than mild or stainless steel. I actually prefer Ali it's easier to get into a Rhythm, too much heat ends you in a mess quickly though.

These cars are too good to modify.
I see a major issue with the vast majority of aftermarkets is the lack of a swagde line. So 3/4s of your car has and 1/4 hasn't bloody silly when you think about it.

R32 Interchangeable suspension parts?
There's a guide on the Nico forum that tells which bits are interchangeable. The rear sub frame na swap utilises a shorter ratio. Use the search box up top there's loads of treads and pics.

Sunday afternoon blasts and more boring pics
Nice, first time I've seen it actually. Nice subtle touches. One thing I'm not keen on though is the stock on plate, looks like a digital seagull shat on your nose cone. ;)

is there a difference in turbo and non turbo cylinder heads
Some top quality info there from a professional. Cheers for clarifying there Steve, I'm guessing the inconnel helps with longevity rather than outright functionality?

I assume he's regfering to the exhaust valves, as the heat increases here as Psi increases? Yeah? It reads that the cams arn't suitable though to me.

Another one for the collection
Where do you find them Scott?

Agreed Valuation Report???
Was it competitive ie a few hundred quid

engine knacker or what
Il level with you. Taking the heads off and reseating the valves, skimming it all etc is a fools erron if that's all you do. Even getting the heads off will require engine removal. The engine layout means manifolds cannot be removed with the turbos still in situe. So they have to come off to get the head off. By that point your whole life was quicker just removing the block and doing it on the bench. The engine in these cars are solid, like 600+hp on stock internals or 300k miles, IF WELL looked after. Yours I'm guessing overheats if it's overflowing the rad to that degree...that would tell me it hasn't been well looked after. Now you've decided to do a courageous expensive and worthwhile thing, I applaud you for this. First things first is to work out just how good/bad that engine is. Once that's done it's simply a case of doing it right, if the block is dead as a do do, joe down at the local garage will not be able to be competitive quality and maybe price wise to a professional VG30DETT engine builder. Getting to know your way round these engines reduces labour considerably. There is only one professional engine builder in this country for these cars, fortunately not only is he a nice bloke he's damn good at his job. A quick chat with him by calling powerzed will let you go forward. With a solid and reliable engine, the bodywork taken care of you will be laughing in a quick comfy 90s super gt with as much power as you decided upon. Good luck

We could just let nature solve these problems the way intended? Or are we a bit soft in te head for that and need babysitting.

Exactly that. So many people get in the car and drive from a to b without any thought outside thier safe box. The thing is 99% of the time they get away with it. I've maintained for a long time speed does not kill, not devoting adequate attention to the task in hand is what kills. Sometimes that adequate attention is it's pissing it down or too busy to be going that fast. That's not a case of driving fast equals accidents, it's a case of not applying yourself properly. If I'm totally honest with myself, in general. If I get caught speeding I wasn't paying enough attention to be speeding to start with esp if it's by a static yellow box on a pole for christs sake. It's though but it's honest.

My parents live in rural France, you actually see people indicate move to the outside lane and retain the signal till they finish the manicure which was to overtake, in the overtaking lane. Not the "fast lane" In contrast my partners father lives in Leon, worst standard if driving ever. Parking distance sensors are just the bumpers. The lack of respect for other peoples property is appalling. I think the main issue here is the roads are actually TOO safe! It makes people lazy and complacent. With that comes stupidity.
