  1. Mechanical and biological failures stopped play for me unfortunately. Was pretty gutted but the weather softened the blow. Any pictures guys?
  2. No I mean what diameter, if your running 18s or 19s you may find a 17" wheel will give more sideway and be more forgiving.
  3. problem with OEM ones is though, they discolour and rot. I've had mine for 4/5 years, they are already starting to degrade.
  4. I think you have to find a way of discussing it healthy and openly without it becoming a disagreement. This particular topic is one that is extremely difficult to have constructively, that is most likely why it was closed. The potential for it to be discussed efficiently is low, and at the end of the day this is a car club not a social debate forum.
  5. AMS is all Chinese as well Pete, Godspeed too. Stillen, Powertrix, SPL and Z1 produce some good quality products.
  6. Or purchased it and restored it to A1 condition and loaned it to Haynes or Beaulieu, like many cars are.

Very much so, not long ago our relatives gave their blood to stop such nonsense. They would be spinning in their graves to think that this country could go that way. Equally though they would be spinning in their graves that Britain has become a failing charity full of lazy barstards.

We do need to take example for the US and AUS that if your no bringing in a desired benefit your not welcome. We also need to make this country not a free ride, that's why the problem people are coming, because it is a free ride.

He can say as he wishes, we have freedom of speech. However, just like if he says to a ginger person that he doesn't like them because they are a ginger tosser, I wouldn't be surprised if he got a whack, equally weather I'm racially abusing you or abusing you because I think your an asshole, abuse is abuse...

Like I've already said, the key here is valuable and skilled migrants, we don't need a collection of international chavs. That's not a racial comment that's an economic comment.

You can technically express any damn opinion you want. You can present your opinion anywhere and everywhere you like, you could be charged for stirring up racial incitement or whatever its called, basically for preaching hate depending on how you go about it. What I cant guarantee you Is that you will fair very well, standing on your soap box and expressing controversial opinions no matter what they are will often end up with you getting a smack.

It depends on your reasoning, context and content is always key. If you don't want immigration because the country is overloaded with people already, the services aren't up to holding current population levels already etc. I.e its a technical perspective that is saying this is a poor idea, because X,Y,Z that's fine. If you don't want immigration because you take a dislike to a certain group, or anybody that's not the same as you. That's racism, black and white couldn't be clearer. Personally, skilled hardworking migrants contribute to our economy greatly, fulfilling roles we cant fill for whatever reason. I'm talking professionals here, doctors etc. The problem is however that we as a nation are attracting vultures, here for a free meal ticket. Probably more of those than the skilled migrants we need sadly. We certainly don't need rafts of unskilled workers, we have our own unskilled people to do these jobs. This is the problem with opening the flood gates to Europe. We are all aware that there's a large portion of native people who scum off society and the hardworking taxpayers, that refuse to do these unskilled job, this is the argument for allowing this form of immigration, that's counter productive though as were gaining native and non native scavengers. We need to address the influx of unskilled migrants and force these people into work. (there are genuine ones as well it must be stressed) However this is a different topic and pretty complex and grinds many peoples gears.
  13. The subframe is only different to carry the different diff and allow the hicas to be mounted and utilised. The arms aside from the ones that are replaced by the hicas are the same.
  14. Which brembos? I've got a pair if Evo ones I can weigh them for you tomorrow?
  15. You could potentially change the springs to a softer set. Tbh even stock suspension is quite harsh compared to your average car. Mines on bilstiens hitting pot holes feels like being punched in the chin.
  16. That also doesn't help. I had the noddies bad on the way home today lol. I just started laughing when the final nail went in the coffin this evening, was laugh or cry lol and I don't cry.
  17. If you down into the area under the fan, there should be three belts. I bet one is missing, monies on the AC belt, compressors seize. Ac belt goes to the right the power steering and alternator to the left.
  18. Sadly guys I'm out. Despite working like a demon each evening my cars not ready, I'm knackered beyond belief and the early start tomorrow is a bad idea, today's drive home wasn't ideal. I've been burning the candle with a blow torch last few weeks between the car the house and work. So I do appologise as I was bringing a banner, helping out etc but this is no longer viable.
  19. Sounds like someone's fitted a set of uk clocks and left the converter in there.
  20. What you have to bare in mind is the z32 is not a Renault Clio, production wise genuine uk models are in the top 20 rarest production models nissan have sold here. They were never a "common" sight for the dealers, therefore many of them not only haven't had to work on them, most of the techs are too young to have had the car new on the forecourt remember and often the question of what's that is returned? Or they only know what they think they know, it a big old jap car that isn't a skyline. Some main dealers don't even know it's their car...this leaves you no better off than leaving billy down the road and "Dave's auto shop" or whatever to work on it. When your paying people who don't know these cars, you are paying them to learn. You don't want to pay billy to learn and don't be fooled that some keen hobbyist is mechanic. You want an expert, with years of experience, relivant experience, and all the tools they have acquired for specific ways to do things correctly. You can "learn" on it yourself, an expert has already learnt. You can rent a trailer or a beaver tail (one of those transits with a flat car bed in it)for the day if that works out cheaper, as an actual tow company is often more expensive, so look into that option. As Grover said though jimmer is highly regarded not just as the best/only expert z32 engine builder in the UK but a damn good z mechanic generally. Depending on what part of Devon your in he may not even be very far away. Jeff and Jaime are up at zedworld, its a fair old jounery from you but again they have years of model specific experience. Please don't scrap the car over an auto box issue, people often give away autoboxes. I threw an ok one in the bin 2 years ago as no one wanted it, it just needed a torque converter. Maybe you could spend some time researching a manual conversion, it won't be cheaper but it will transform the car into a sports car. A few years ago, my car ran like a pig. Itvwas at a local "specialist" for three weeks, and still càme back wrong. They couldn't fix the problem, nor the raft of issues caused by some idoits who again decalired themselves specialists. Jeff had it running again after 5 minutes, and spent the next few days sorting out most of the issues, I still had to pull the block the next winter even after jeff had worked out 99% of the gremlins, I had a budget to stick to, so it was a case of get it running, to un earth the full extent of the orginal poor quality if work. I appricate that's not very well written, it's just gone 4 am and its been a long week.
  21. Yeah delete loads of junk in the process, replace the pcvs and hoses in the process. The hoses and cables etc will be brittle so be very carefull and gentle, replace what you can.
  22. I wouldn't want to own it, I wouldn't even be that keen to drive it. But to see that hooligan of upset the toffs with its ways, and to see it eat some £50k+ merc just fills me with joy. It's like a middle finger to the self righteous and materialistic people, on wheels. It's not pretty, it's ugly Infact it's downright offensive. I'd this car had a favourite band it wouldn't be steps!
  23. Lightweight shell check, v8 check, bits missing check all round fun.
  24. It's more the shape that concerns me, rolling a dice is rather different to rolling a Borboun biscuit even if they are equal weight.
