I was thinking just the same, it sounds like the symptom has been treated without rectifying the cause. I can see you wasting money here by simply replacing the crank or bearings. Source a known Goodun, that can tide you through while the other block is stripped inspected machined cleaned and rebuilt. :)

The maximum speed permitted here in mainland Britian is 70mph so I dunno why that would be an issue, obviously you don't speed. Alternatively find the dammed bonger and remove it :) most aftermarket ecu's dump that bong and remove the speed limiter opening up the full 170 odd mph of the car, which is obviously highly usefull on the M4 lol

Might just be the first time it's got hot, hot in a while and cleared out some crap. I could also be more sinister and a little but of an investigation is always prudent with these cars. Have a quick look at the oil filler cap, oil level, coolant level and coolant condition. Equally have a good look round the back of the engine when running for signs of leaks or steam/smoke.

Unless you have real sentiment towards that particular shell, id say sell it. The cost of storage will mount up above the cars market value for starters, you wouldn't be able to check the car regularly, it could be stolen and you may not know for months or years and lastly they don't like being left stood standing, all kind of gremlins form IMO. Sell it keep the money, spend it in Canada and the US on parts then but anew zed when your back with the money you saved. Much better option.

Yup they suit that car pretty well, where did you source them from?

Finished fitting my whiteline ARB's, broke a rear drop link Friday during instal. Shops were closed so it stopped play, the whiteline bar uses a vertical mount rather than the horizontal mount of the stock ones. Anyway after some thinking I thought 200sx front drop links might work with some minor modification, which were on the shelf at euro car parts. They fitted like a glove, no modification required at all. Much sharper turn in and much flatter through the corners now.

I did keep saying this and do every year, I've NEVER qued for more than minutes in or out, thee between 6 and 7 leave between 2 and 3. I've literally rolled in without stopping once before. Breakfast on site is pretty reasonable as well.

I've been the last three years on the trot. At half past 7 Friday night I realised I had exhausted all avenues to get my car there :( I'd driven home that lunch time and was literally falling asleep. Starting at half 3am to arrive at 6 was a receipt for disaster.

Mechanical and biological failures stopped play for me unfortunately. Was pretty gutted but the weather softened the blow. Any pictures guys?

No I mean what diameter, if your running 18s or 19s you may find a 17" wheel will give more sideway and be more forgiving.

problem with OEM ones is though, they discolour and rot. I've had mine for 4/5 years, they are already starting to degrade.

I think you have to find a way of discussing it healthy and openly without it becoming a disagreement. This particular topic is one that is extremely difficult to have constructively, that is most likely why it was closed.
