Fitting a EBC and a stage 1 remap @ powerzed with Jimmer
It’s not a case of big man, it’s a case of history. In fact maybe your just more subtle at it these days, I have no doubt you’ll be slagging me off later for daring to having an opinion different to your own. I’ve stood your corner on numerous occasions over the years but you don’t make it easy.

Maybe it’s jyst allowed me to view the world in a different way, step out from the echo chamber and see a few things with more clarity. On the subject of what I’ve become need I remind you how this club has previously banned you for your antics and attitude. It wasn’t that long ago you had to beg to come back after upsetting so many members. As per usual your confusing your opinions with facts.

I’m not going to waste my time arguing with your Simon, certainly not on some pedantic level of one 1 psi, you know for well the point I’m making. Fact remains it’s safe to run 15-17, damn probably 19 psi on stock 370cc injectors with an appropriate map. Heat from the stock Turbos is the limiting factor. How much PSI your running is not a direct correlation to BHP. Go do some calculations on the volume of fuel required and the volume the injectors can supply. If what you were saying was true, I wouldn’t of being pulling AFRs in the 10s at 18psi to start with. Enjoy driving around with injectors running at about 30% duty at WOT. At least you can be an internet hero and tell everyone what you’ve brought.

Your at a good stage, pushing past where you are complicates things.

Your implication is that you need to upgrade your injectiors for 16 psi. This isn’t correct. Furthermore without detail it may appear to the op that he requires not 555 which are actually 615 but 740s to achieve that. I realise you chose to install 740s for your own personal reasons but they aren’t required, 740s have enough head room for over 700 fly wheel horse on 95 Ron. All that’s required for 16psi is a good map and healthy system with some minor bolt ons, which will dyno at roughly 360-370fwhp. Currently he’s probably pushing about 330ish. Stock injectors are safe at this level and the real risk is preignition from excessive temperature or poor timing on the map. The majority of engine failures are map and supporting equipment related.

New PM
Indeed, so many people seem to think we live in a country with a presidential system.

By how much has that sump increased oil capacity then? Pick up tube is certainly different to stock.

some folk are missing the point
As usual Jeff you miss the point. When you and others bitch and moan about people’s cars, talk down their worth and value as if they are literally a complete an utter turd you paint yourself and the club in a poor light. Ironically these are the same people proclaiming that £5-6k is a fair price for a manual TT in even a remotely fair condition, desperate to talk up values. Many active and good people have walked away from the club or faded away due to a minority of people and thier opinions. These days there’s about half a dozen active users on here and what used to be an active hub has become a clique. You sir have done many good things for this car and it’s scene in years gone by but bitching about what’s for sale isn’t one of them. In a few years time when the club ceases because it has no members think back to the sorts of attitudes and opinions expressed in this thread and observe the correlation. Where will people post pictures of bags of over overpriced OEM screws.

some folk are missing the point
Sorry but from a poor ad of an overpriced car how have we established it’s an utter turd? The interior has been dicked about with and left very unfinished, but the exterior looks alright... someone has spent lots of money on it at some stage, wether it’s been messed with after that ownership or they lost interest/prioritised poorly is up for debate. What it’s guilty of being is overpriced with a poor advert but referring to it as a lemon and not worth £5k, if it’s not worth £5k then neither are most that are about. If you were on the hunt and saw this thread, it might make you pick a different zed but I guarantee you it will make them pick a different club to join...

Am stuck... gearbox or die pipe removal?
Take a photo of your leak. The passenger turbo has quite a bit of room around it, you just need to know where to play with it.

TT Condensor RIP ?
Surely something smaller but readily available could be found, say off a Fiesta then a adapter set of pipes and bracket made. Not hard.

Boxhill to Brighton - Summer Run ?
Best to check but there where some amendments to this stuff. The old ignore it advice isn’t always right anymore.

I’ve done the same to mine Nick, although I didn’t fit a fancy pants grill  big old Stanley knife hole.

Car ****ed , thrown a rod or something, you want parts, get them now.
He probably called one of those guys that takes your car away for scrap...

Auto to Manual conversion
Your making the right choice, the Z’s autobox is rubbish. You’ll realise how much better your car is as soon as it’s manual.

my latest project
How has this affected the weight distribution of the chassis? Surely the Rover V8 is significantly heavier than the old Mazda 4 banger? Have you driven it in anger yet?

I have sold my 300zx
Well done Scott, you did well out of that. Hope you and your family are well.

350z v 300zx prices
I have seriously toyed with buying one and pocketing the change from the sale of my Z32.

Bordeaux
Ignoring the fact that I also mentioned the yellow jackets, being the translation of the French name of the movement you used. The police thing is why the jackets became a political symbol in the first place. But hey what do I know.

Bordeaux
The locals put them on the dash, it gives the plod no excuse to try it on. Also keeps the Yellow Jackets peaceful. I was over in December and found this out.

Coming round fast this. Is the club still attending?
