  1. Is the Hicas light illuminated?
  2. Tin tops quite common. It's just because some cars like ours a non hard top is the norm.
  3. Cos the top is slick as apposed to textured due a to lack of targa's?
  4. The Skyline R34 wheels look Stirling.
  5. Ok so either a preformed package or have something made. CR Turbos will be able to offer your options.
  6. Your very limited if you keep the four bolt exhaust. Basically you have stock, sport 500s and gt525 the latter two are basically one in the same. Essentially these are stock housing with larger wheels. A quick look at Z1 will show you the prices. Next up is gt535R which is gt2554r turbo modified and turned into a kit to fit the Z32, after that there's the Gt600R/sport 600 kits which are gt2560rs again modified a touch. There are larger more expensive options but that should give an outline of the most common swaps from a range of 450-600Hp. It's really something you have to research and choose yourself. There's more options, there's also some outside the box options, but unless your happy to DIY you will be best off paying for a kit. The question is what do you want to achieve. With the right mods, the right map you could make 450hp on stockers to be fair and have a very responsive power curve. Gt525s aren't a whole lot cheaper than gt600s once you factor in the core and the gt535 are more expensive. You can get hold of gt2560s new for about £500-600 each but your going to have to piss about a fair bit, less than with the gt2554s though. I've chose to use either a pair of old school T28s or a pair of GT2560s, the T28 is a personal choice and not a route I'd suggest to others.
  7. Be a small group that one lol.
  8. Good to see you back about bud. Your doing any hill climbs this season? I was chatting to a guy in Zclub that does it in his S30 quite interested in seeing what it's all about.
  9. There's thousands of them out there in various guises I recon there's more in bits or long term storage than actually being used though. There's about 10-15 in East Dorset/West Hants that I know of alone.
  10. LWB JDM Twin turbo auto 1989 originally. Twin turbo manual Frankenstein now.
  11. Think you get them on S14s as well so potential there for robbery.
  12. Ah that could make sense, il check. Although I would of lost that a year or so again if he could resend it?
  13. Cheers bud. - - - Updated - - - I think it's a problem with my account, I've never been able to post.
  14. Yeah, definitely logged in. Username is z32bolt.
  15. What turbos you getting si?
  16. I signed up, what a year back. Can't post though, read and search only, anyone know why?
  17. Shorties can pull it off better than a full size zed, see what I did there? But it's really not way forward to me. Equally I wonder how much purpose there is in the spoiler, they got progressively larger as the years went on, was that style or substance...
  18. He doesn't mean the socket size he means the ratchet, if you use a 3/8" drive ratchet with a 14mm hex socket you will get it on and have maximum contact with the bolt. Tbh I do this job with a 1/4" drive set I have and have never had an issue. It's been 12 months since I tarted about with that but im pretty sure you don't necessarily have to touch that bolt to remove the belts. There is a handy piece on the Ps pump you can use to lever/push the pump around. Il be straight with you, if your struggling at this stage maybe it would pay to have a professional change your timing belt. We all have to learn but maybe this is a curve to steep? Only you can answer that. - - - Updated - - - This!
  19. I'm guessing he is, prob 1/2" drive aswel?
  20. You mean the shoulder of the socket is stopping you from getting the socket home?
  21. The only place you will find imperial stuff on a zed is on the turbos, as they are Garrett units. The rest of the car is metric. Why can't you get the socket on fully?
  22. The AT and PS/Hicas are completely separate mate, they use the same type of fluid but the circuits are separate. Get the car jacked up nice and high, clean what you can then refill and observe. Sounds like your leaking both? Have you hit something?
  23. Yup there's a pair of pipes that run from the box to radiator, drivers side IIRC you will see two hoses about 12mm in diameter looping through the rad. I had one pop off and I lost all the fluid and subsequently drive. I was in the middle of the forest at the time as well really not very helpful. Had to pay the RAC guy for 5L of ATF and limp home.
  24. Says it's near me but I've never seen it.
  25. Both. The choice of each will effect the result. Some more so than others.
