What did you do to your zed today?
Just been out, Christ I'm glad I've got T Tops, no air con but T Tops took the edge off. The dash says its 28c and I'd agree, it's like Spain here today.

What did you do to your zed today?
I saw some of those wheels on a different car a while back and wondered what they would look like in a zed. I think they work.

Mapping and reliability ..........
Don't take this the wrong way, however. Unless you know something that others don't Jeff if doesn't state what specialist tuned it or where that specialist was, not that I can see. I appricate that you motive as some one that's been stung buy a rouge trader years ago, not one that's ever advertised through the club I might add, "caveat emptor" and all. That's what a community like this is about, help and advice which you've gone above and beyond with. It would appear though, understandably due to previous experience that certain traders have left you with a bee in your bonnet. I think you've made this point now. Maybe it's time to drop the axe and pick up the pinna colada. Your retired, your on the other side of the continent and you have your health, things look pretty sweet for you atm in your M6. Let it go a bit and enjoy your life. I hope you take this the way I intend it and I look forward to more sunny photos and tech debate.

Is the rad orginal? That's on the filler neck end isn't it. It's got that look of, "I've been dripping water on this piece of steel for some time" look about it. I know mines in a lot better condition than this and I think this winter il be stripping the nose cone off like you've done to ensure it stays that way.

A Z32 horror show
Not that bad really, mostly wear and tear. Split gaiters and leaks. I recon many of the cars in this club have those very issues and the owner doesn't even know.

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
The clutch and brake will be very straight forward. The matrix pipes are a little more fiddly, due to thier location behind the engine.

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
Bottom ones heater matrix pipes, then I think the other two are clutch and brake master.

want this!!
I think that's why it was donated under that stipulation. At best it's a basket case used in an advert as a stunt car, it's not the feature car in the advert it's used in the jump only. At worst it's a bent Z32 that's unable to be registered, making effectively a paper weight.

want this!!
The dream car? If so there's more to that then you may realise. Such as the car potentially cannot be used on the road, ever. The car was gifted to a university on the explicit condition it was never registered, some law thing to do with liabilities I believe. As such it is apparently not going to be straight forward to ever register the car.

brand new Top gear on BBC 2 now...
Being better, than bad doesn't make anything good. As for sky, they are fast becoming one of the biggest power houses in TV, programmes like Game of thrones, The Left Overs etc as well as the rights to the F1. If I had to pick a British TV station it's got to be channel 4. For varied content, quality drama and cinema as well as news delivery.

Interesting point about the beebs other services, how many do you use? I listen to radio 4 most of the time, because 1,2 and 3 do my fruit in. I don't have DAB in the van, the other car does and I go straight to planet rock. There are some great American programmes out there, personal taste really though. We have plenty of commercial channels here without the excessive American style adverts. M pretty confident the BBC isn't unbiased, in fact I find it often very biased. But then when your pay check comes straight from the Goverment I spose you'd be biased too.

Pretty much Richard look at what BBC1 & 2 have on offer at prime time this Friday and Saturday night. A crap game show, seriously, does anyone think Pointless is a good programme? Don't worry though because after this and the news at gone half 10 at night that new film Die hard with Avengence is on, this film was realesed in 1995, a great film but it's older than Alic!! Don't even get me started on Itv, I'm pretty sure thier purpose is to make the scum class feel part of society, when your greatest achievement is Jeremy Kyle and Simon Cowell, oh you get the point.

Exactly, I watch seriously limited amounts of proper TV myself. On demand services etc are far better. Tbh if I'm home alone the TV stays off, il be doing other stuff, unless it's the depth of winter then the playstation goes on. Back on point though, TV as we know it is a dying concept and a public service such as the Beeb, funded by a tax you must pay to have a TV wether they use there service or not is making less sense by the day.

BBC3  Tbh the BBC is on a downward spiral in my opinion, they do make one or two great programmes but the likes of channel 4, sky etc blow the pants off them. If anyone's been watching the history channels, Viking's you will know what I mean, bloody fantastic. The beebs days are numbered I'm afraid most under 30s are disengaged with it as a whole.

Radiator cross member replacement, day one.
How about a piece of 5-10mm plate, drill holes at the end and use the bolts provided for the bumper support to pin in in place. There's three each end. Shouldn't move far with this in place. Then when not needed it can simply be unbolted. No welding required, no cleanup aft wards. Just an idea. Should be man enough.

Looks like some ones used a cavity wax product.

What did you do to your zed today?
Took it out to get dinner. Crisp evening air was pleasing to the car.

Cat warning light?
They've likely been deleted. You will have to get on your hands and knees and have a look.

Cat warning light?
Do you have cats?

Radiator cross member replacement, day one.
Keep going mate, think how nice it will be all clean and repaired. Take the opertunity to bin the guff.
-
Cat warning light?
You will likely find the cat light is on because the sensor is no longer connected. Has the car got decats? Mine did the same when I decatted, I cant remember what I did about it.

The Carbon Fibre Thread
If the price were right I'd be interested in carbon sill covers. Was thinking just the other day how under whelming the stock plastic is.

Some tuning questions
Oil galleries for the turbos are already there to use mate. Just take the bolt out. Yes, any reference to boost is the total amount. They are parallel so each turbo produces 7,9,14 whatever the set value is and combined they also produce 7,9,15 etc. Its not a case of one makes 7 and so does the other making 14, they both produce 14psi. However if one failed you would feel lots of lag and struggle to make boost as one turbo would struggle to produce enough air and obviously half the engine would be starved.
