  1. Had polar opposites today, worked all day in the freezing cold with not a single offer of anything. Whilst the customers look at you through the kitchen window waitingvfor the kettle to be. WTF!!!! Then dropped some materials off at another job for tomorrow on the way home and got othered a glass of wine!!! If it was mulled I'd have been all over it
  2. Not long now, we're just about to win the 2nd Test and go 1-0 up in The Ashes :cool2:
  3. This weather is playing havoc with my work at the moment, and it's nowhere near as cold down here. Been cutting a roof in today and find it impossible to work with gloves on normally but gave in today. It's fooking taters!! Keep drinking coffee to warm up and liven up but takes forever to find the old chap to go for a jimmy!!
  4. Looks nice bud. Welcome.
  5. Top work fella. Love following your progress, keep it coming.
  6. Nice one Richard. Sounds like a top day out. Zed looks great.
  7. :detective: All done and dusted(hoovered!) And I found £2 into the bargain. Good times. Now time for a well earned pint or two :duffer: And it really is a 5 minute job. Nice.
  8. Thanks Jeff. Just what I wanted to hear, I shall get on it right now if that's the case
  9. Looks like top work. Loving the colour choice too :thumbup1:
  10. Hi chaps, i'm thinking of changing my drivers seat over today. Before I do though I was wondering how difficult it is? How long it'll take? And how to go about it? As always any advice greatly appreciated :thumbup1:
  11. I like that. That's what I'm hoping to achieve. Good work.
  12. Thanks guys. I'll keep you updated. Scope to make enclosures to fit specific build requirements. Wish working on engines/cars came as easily to me!!
  13. Cheers Hollings. I have made a start on the custom boxes now. Don't know how to link another thread though! It's not the best but when carpeted should look okay. I'm going to go with a 8" sub in both corners. Should sound nice, does now but not the best looking set up.
  14. Good work Daz. The right balance of informed opinion, silliness and stupidity. Just as it should be. :tt2:
  15. Made a start on the sub enclosures for my slicktop this morning. Got as far as finishing the templates before i got offered free Arsenal tickets. Here is where i got to. Firstly scribe the top part to fit snug with trim Then scribe the front panel where the speaker will be fitted Mark the top and cut to suit and there you have a sub enclosure for a SWB Sorry for size of pics but i don't know how to reduce them. I'll update as i progress. Any comments/advice is welcomed and encouraged. Cheers guys
  16. Good luck with it mate. Your plans sound nice and glad you haven't lost heart. Look forward to following the progress.
  17. Have a look in ZX-TT's rides, pretty sure he's updated his pics, and he's got a smooth boot now.
