Underdrive pulley suppliers claim that for every pound you take off the crank, you'll see a 2.5bhp increase on the 300ZX. The lightened pulley is 9lbs lighter than the stock pulley. This is not my claim, it's only what I've read.

I would say, at 17psi, your injectors will already have maxed out.

I paid £6300 for mine 3 years ago, although it was totally stock when I bought her. I would say £5K is a steal, if it's a good straight car...then again, I'm biased :) :)
