I rang the council, as in our area they still do this sort of thing FOC. However, as soon as I mentioned the chimney, they said NO. They said they simply haven't got the funds or the eqipment for this sort of job. All they do is remove hives from gardens, trees etc.

I'm sorry to have to be the one to break this news but unfortunately Billing Aquadrome have cancelled next weekend due to the weather. The ground is that bad currently, the site organisers are hiring in pumps in an attempt to shift the surface water. However, the weather forecast for the next 10 days is not expected to be any better and therefor they have decided to call it off today. They said they wanted to give the car clubs as much prior notice as possible. Obviously we are devastated, as this was meant to be our main summer event this year. We have spoken to the ZClub and they are still committed to holding their 30th annivessary later on this summer at Billing. It is far too late to try and sort out a bigger pitch at Peterborough, so at the moment, it looks like we'll be rescheduling the event with the ZClub. If anything changes or as soon as we have revised dates, we will post, to give members as much notice as possible. Once again, we sorry for all those members (including me) who have already booked time off work. It's unfortunate but nothing much we can do about the weather and the decision to cancel was purely down to the owners/management at the Aquadrome. Regards The 300ZX.co.uk Club Committee

Mine also need doing. Problem is, it's a little out the way for me :headvswal Last time I got mine done (September '06), it was from a company in Sunderland. Checked my front tyres 4 weeks ago and the insides were down to the steel :headvswal Just replaced them, so could really do with the alignment being check again.

Definately worth coming for the Sunday. Both 300ZX.co.uk and ZClub will still be there in force and Sunday will be the Annual Awards presentations from both clubs.

Good news on the Bee front: Got a pest controller out yesterday and he reckoned the Bees were Bumble Bees and not Honey Bees. He said if they were Honey Bees, I'd be lloking at between 30 and 50 thousand, whereas Bumble Bees live in very small colonies, more like 100 ~ 200. He sprayed a shit load of powder down the chimney and told me to keep the fireplace sealed up for 3-4 days. Only charged me £20 as well, so that could have been worse also. Suppose all I can do now is wait and see what happens.
