I'm positive it will be released in the UK. The Infiniti brand was launched in China and Russia this year and they plan to launch in Europe next year. It was decided three year ago to launch the Infiniti brand globally. Can't see why they wouldn't launch the GTR, as it's Infiniti's flagship vehicle.

New car prices have hardly moved since the early nineties. Majority of car company's have reduced costs to keep new prices low. Also, the government abolished the 10% car tax in the nineties, reducing the cost of new cars. Be surprised if it were more than 40K in today's money. Give you an example: My father-in-law bought a Ford Escort 1.3GL in December 1982 (Y reg). He paid £5200 for the car. It was a mid ranged model. This model had no radio cassette, no electric pack (windy windows), no power steering. 25 years later, you can buy a C segment car (Note, Focus, C4 etc) for around £9000, with far more gadgets and toys included in the price.
