  4. yep it needs localised heat around the ring mate....butane might cut it but you cant beat the Mapp gas (lot hotter)

  6. Why do you need a machine shop to grind or turn it out...bit of heat on the alloy and that steel spigot will drift out from the front with a flat punch..once out then buy new hubcentric spigots

  16. it will have a sensor coming from it (another wire or wires) apart from the pump...there are nice little generic washer bottles on ebay atm with pump and tubing for £8.00 mate but no low warning sensor on them.

  21. Forgive me Lord for i have been stupid...just finnished spending 2 nights changing my water pump after thinking it would be ok to re-fit my old one during a plenum delete and cambelt change. WRONG:wacko:...the extra tension of the belt on the re-build must have just been enough to finnish off the seal and the inner weep hole started to have a piss all over my garage floor.Dont make my mistake guys when your deep in there doing a belt service as i should know better.
