  1. Mistake number 1...cutting the studs as there threaded into the cast and not able to be punched through..heat them cherry red and they just unscrew with vice grips so easy when intact.... Damage limitation...take the manifolds off and drill out the studs on a bench drill..slow and hard with a few drops of oil on a keen drill bit. Then chase out the M8 threads and re-cut using M10x1.25 and in future use bolts right up into the manifolds taking the downpipes with them.
  2. well done Steve...thats a bastd of a job too:wink:
  3. Bloodyhell mate :crying:....iff you ever hear my zed screaming up behind you one day just put your hands over your ears and close your eyes....otherwise you,ll wish you lived in a squat and was gay:ph34r:

  7. Try get the front of car higher in the air...have your cabin temp set at max heat. when you start filling from cold take your time and let the air come out slowly (5 mins or so). Now start the car and let it idle with the rad cap off for 10 mins and bring the water to the bottom of the filler neck and make sure your coolant tank is up to the max mark. Then re-fit cap and lower the front down...sounds like you had an air lock mate. Also did you fit the stat with the toggle pin at 12 oclock
  8. how long did you have it running and was it just at idle...reason i ask is because that will be the water temp in the block and it needs at least 10-15 mins at variable rpm,s to get the water pumped around the rad and have the rad water at 82 degrees...plus did you bleed it correctly on the refill?
  9. they the ones at a super low buy it now with the relocation brackets
  10. who,s the guilty bodger Steve that plays John Wayne with his silacone gun and leaves vital gaskets out..

  21. Actually Si they are a very attractive caliper with them being ribbed, plus when fresh and to most none zed heads they do look uprated behind a 5 spoke rime
  22. Happy Birthday mate...i was going to send you a nice steady 750 RPM idle in a box but the postage was to much:happybday::D
  23. I still think you cant beat rattle can satin black then draw a small file across the Nissan logo..with it being raised it clears the paint off the lettering and does not touch the calipers. Gives it a clean factory look.
