  1. It pains me to type this but ime feeling i need a Porche in my life....midlife thingy i dont know but ime after a sunday morning toy, ive always loved the 911 right back to the 80,s targa tops. I know we have some serious petrolheads in the house so ime after some ideas and thoughts bearing in mind i want something from the 911 stable and have a budget of around £20K...There are stipulations to your task, nothing with the word "Boxter" in it and "mutinity and should be a jap car".. I love my Zeds but i also love the Porche pedigree too:)
  2. Can i go to the top as a zed with the most parts needed to finnish....I have 2 PCV valves and 2 inlet pullys so ime looking for other bits to finnish my build:D
  3. cops will get called and escorted off the premises with a charge sheet for assault...not smart this early into the job Dan. There are other avenues to be explored 1st :sneaky2:
  4. give her a good smack on the back of the head....sorted:devil:

Stephen dont you dare begin to like any Trans-Am other than a 77 or 78..(smokey/bandit) style with the Pontiac block and not the Oldsmobile (79/80 model onwards).right thats off my chest, back to the OP,nice rides matey:yes:
  9. its a constant 5 psi that will find the leaks,no good just squirting a blast of air in as the inside volume will swallow it up plus the leaks your looking for..So an ideal senerio will be a small compresser with the regulator set to 5 psi and leave it connected as your scrabbling around looking and hearing for the leaks:wink:
  10. Do What i do with the chancer nonces...as soon as one appears i take all my cards off paypal and that leaves them no way of extracting false payments when they see fit. Had one recently when i sold a drill,he said the lithium batt was goosed and wanted his money back..i said send the drill back with the SAME battery as i always keep seriel numbers for them, still waiting after weeks:sneaky2: plus as a double stinger to his plans i sercurity paint the cartridge screws so they cant swap the cells too. As Graham has said ebay is finnished now with respects to these chancers and iff you pick up the odd negative feedback just dont worry at all.
  11. ignore him...chancer mate:thumbdown:
  12. "He can fit them for you also. Mine's going in for one over the next few weeks for one. " :whistling:
  13. wash your mouth out with medicated soap:tt2:
  14. :( These cars can be Bas$%ds at times as i know all too well...forget about it for a week mate and compose your thoughts then go back to a positive course of action....Like finding another GOOD KNOWN box and get it fitted;)
  15. Yea Danny was a great trader and is a good guy...sole licenced supplier of the Conzult here in blighty and Eric had the Dutch side...
  16. Ime a big big fan of the OEM 89 spoiler and with the new proposed its like have the best of both worlds....never been a lover of the 99 and good choice Simon on getting rid:)
  17. Ahhh to late to post a remedy...lots of localised heat on the bolt heads (mapp gas bottle) would of released the thread lock. The grinding would of done the same to them hence them just coming out with no heads.
  18. I think he means the heat shield under the fuel tank Rich...a lot of heat can be got from a zorst and ive always re-furbed and fitted my heat shields back on,not an ideal situation to be putting heat into the fuel..
  19. Oil quantity has nothing to do with oil pressure...well to a point that is,in a healthy engine discounting a faulty pressure gauge as long as the oil pick-up in the sump is picking up then even with the lowest amount of oil you should have normal oil pressure at idle. Putting another 100 liters in would not change oil pressure at all. Ive had many zeds and every one has had an eratic OEM gauge so a no pressure reading is not always disaster but MUST be double checked or cross referenced asap with a known working gauge either OEM or aftermarket;)
  20. sounds like a rod...i thought Mr Dent built the motor and given that fact i find it almost impossible that it would be a rod...
