1. Retail car parks are usually free (Im a tightwad) 2. Retail car parks are usually easy to find ( Im a country bumpkin and get confused easily in big cities) 3. Retail car parks are usually big ( so can easily acommodaite the multitude of Z's that appear at all the Scottish meets) 4. Retail car parks usually have a fast food place on site ( keeps you happy) 5. Retail car parks have adjacent shopping ( shops attract women, lots of women some of whom are bound to be young and attractive therefore I can letch cause im an old perv, keeps me happy) :p ask a silly question get a straightforward answer

classic
As stated try shopping around Im about £180 for fully comp on a classic policy limited milage, with Carol Nash. No claims dont normally come into a classic car policy, so you can use that on your daily driver. In comparison my daily driver, a 530d touring is about £260 with full no claims so there is deffinately a fair saving with a classic policy

Ok As I dont know the Glasgow area that well, hows about the motorway services at Hamilton or Bothwell. Nice and easy for us central and east coast guys to find. If you know of somewhere better let me know I'll look to make it towards the end of February (Saturday the 21st or 28th) I'll confirm it when we get a bit of interest.

Sad Loss of a True Z Enthusiast
I had a call from Leslie, Colin's (Dick300) wife tonight with the sad news that he passed away at the weekend. He had been battling a mystery illness which had affected most of his vital organs and had spent months in hospital, just before Christmas he had gained enough strength to be fitted with a pacemaker which was hoped would help, but this unfortunately was not to be. I realise many of the members on here won't know Colin, he has been a member for many years but although he didnt post on here much recently, he did visit the site often and was one of the regulars at the Scottish meetings. Most the Scottish contingent that have attended meetings over the years will no doubt have met and chatted with him. As a long term Z man and true enthusiast he was very knowledgeable on the cars and was always ready to give advice and help. Colin you will be sorely missed from the meets and runs!. Id like to take this opportunity to offer my, and I suspect the whole of the forums sincerest condolences to Leslie, family and friends.
