I remember them back in the day seriously quick for the time and a bit of a rarity very nice but I went for the competition, though mine had a tasteful rear spoiler and not that thing on top of the hatch. Always remember three of us cruising round our local town my Supra the Starion and a BMW635 amongst a sea of XR3's XR2's, Capri's and Astra GTI's

It sure is annoying when you don't get what your expecting, but in answer to your question I would say it all depended on the wording of the original ad. I had a look at it and presume it has now been changed. If it originally went along the lines of an exact replica of the SWB then yes you have a valid point. However from the comments made at the start of the post it seems the claim was that the spats would only fit the SWB which is a bit different. Honestly don't think there is a right and a wrong here and a bit of blame on both sides neither of which was intended. What I would say is that I would not have been quite as quick to post up on the forum until all avenues had been exhausted.

That's a fair trek down for you buddy. Think on the plus side though, a great drive down the A9 think of the fun you can have 200mls of average speed cameras :ohmy:

Intrigued That's a better date for me, unlike Mr Berrick I more likely will have to take the dog out for a run in the car to save him from all the fireworks, its like central Kobane around here already ffs. Though in a year or two once the dogs deed I will resume normal practice of firing echo bombs through old farts letter boxes. One has to look forward to something!

I went to start up the car early in the year and found it had fried another battery. I spat the dummy said f**K it shut the garage door and left it. I was a bit pissed off as the battery was only 2yrs old and I had been checking the car regularly over the winter. Still it was my fault, I should have put it on trickle charge just to keep it topped up. I suppose there's always next year, I might treat it to a new battery :laugh:. How's your car coming along is it back on the road yet.
