Brake Problems AGAIN!
:D fook sorry bud, theres me telling you to go to the expense of sorting out the master cylinder, and all you had to do was swap the calipers. would never ever have believed someone would have got them the wrong way round Im surprised you got any sort of pedal in the first place.

removing window tints
Usually can peel them off in one peice once you get a bit of the outer edge freed, seen it done lots of times !! just leaves some glue that can be a git to get off. but some decent window cleaner and elbo grease gets the job done

Be cautious when at the garage
Similar happened in Dundee last year, wheel came off a passing truck and went right through the filling station missed all the people, motors and pumps but demolished the front of the newly refurbed shop. The wheels that hit the guy in the vid look like they're off a 7.5 toner those would have really hurt , the Dundee one was a 44 ton artic if it had been a set of those that hit him,the guy wouldnt have felt much for long. mabey its because Ive seen the damage wheel's can do but ive gota say im like Lets Drift, and just don't find it funny

Clutch system air
and the cap being air tight wouldnt make any difference in the short term.

Clutch system air
Have you bled the air from the bleed point in the engine compartment as well, cause that fooker caught me out. I spent ages trying to bleed the system at the slave cylinder after fitting a new cylinder

Brake Bleeding Porblems
Other thing is have you actually tried the brakes. we had problems years ago with crappy brake pedal after fitting the manufacturers pads on one type of motor, the pedal felt spongy with excessive travel I found that after a test run the brakes started to bed in and the pedal came up. If the pedal on your Z is just a bit spongy but there is reserve travel then I would say try this if you are certain that there are no leaks, but if the pedal is dropping to the floor as you suggest dont even try this. If this is the case it deffinately sounds like the master cylinder. to replace the seals isnt a big job, a bit fiddly to remove the cylinder, if you dont want to risk changing the seals try and get hold of a good second hand master cylinder of the forum traders. however a seal kit is usually a straightforward job (not replaced a Z kit myself but have done it on lots of other motors) just watch the old bits as they come out and fit the new ones the same way

Look at my rear end!

Brake Bleeding Porblems
10ltrs of dot 4 later.......... just replace the master cylinder seal kit, and then it should bleed up no problem.

Is 140,000 miles too high???
another point to consider, can you be certain that the low mileage import car hasnt been clocked. its hard to prove :)
-
Is 140,000 miles too high???
that sounds like a lot of miles, but is nothing really when you take the age of the car into consideration. My UK Z had over 144,000 (thats less than 10k a year) on it when I bought it 2 years ago and still runs pretty sweet though ive only put another few thousand on it since then. Mileage isnt everything its how the cars been looked after and the type of running the cars had, bets theres a a few on the forum with low milage cars that have just as many problems as high mileage motors. Saying all that it is a uk car and will have been subjected to british weather and salt on the roads for longer than an import, and like mine will probably need some body work. things have gone wrong on my motor but i would put them down purely to age rather than the amount of miles clocked up. Get the motor checked over by someone who knows Z's dont let the mileage put you off!!
