Sounds like it could be a fooked master cylinder. sometimes happens when the brake lines are disturbed, but try bleeding it first as most folk are suggesting

Sounds like the mot garage made a mistake with the entry of the registration number, it happens but more usually with the vin. You need to contact your nearest VOSA office give them the details of the mistake you probably will have to prove proof of ownership and show them the V5 etc. to find your nearest VOSA office go into any local mot station the will have all the details displayed on a notice board. If there is anything untoward with the MOT they should pick it up

the uk pearl that I saw was about the same shade as yellow postits, from what you say yours seems to be brighter.

yeh I had a look a UK pearl yellow when I was looking a Z, liked the colour but there were a couple of holes in the sill's ( now theres proof of it being a UK model :D ) so I didnt buy it. look for a local garage that advertises building custom stainless exhausts, they will be able to cut the flange and re weld it.
