I'd personaly got for Poly, the alloy ones woud transmit noise and vibration through the car. This is apparantly a very major job to change these bushes. THe whole rear subframe must be dropped and stripped.

Halfords sell the Harness, you'll also need the Aerial adaptor which they normally have to order in. As far as Im aware the Uk and Jap adaptors is the same, but there may be a difference if you have the Bose amp option. You could always cut and rejoin them if it became a problem.

Thats very poorly running example, since its 0-60 is a second slower than other UK tested Zeds, and its 0-100 is 2.5 seconds slower.

I think we already said that the stock Supra was quicker than stock zed. However, as already mentioned earlier. The Supra runs 11.5psi with bigger injectors , and the 300zx 9.5 psi. Call it an excuse if you will, but with the zed up to the same equal boost pressure thats going to affect those times.

wether or not US spec Supra's put out 360 at the fly or not is of no concern, as we only get Uk and Jap spec here and that is what we are comparing.

The "inflated" american HP claims quote was becuase all to often we see two similar spec modified Zed's on each side of the pond claiming very differnet power outputs. Like 800bhp in the U.S....600bhp here.

0-60 is about .5 second of, and about 1 second off for the 0-100...for UK Tested 300zx's. But that was a Wet road test.

£1500-£2000 seems to be a common range for repsray in different colour.

yep, plenty of the auto owners have BOV's fitted......its exactly the same, except you have to take you foot of the gas when you want the Psssttttttttt, as it wont do it with normal auto gear changes

Group buy on Exhaust repair services ? :rofl: I have'nt fixed mine yet, but Ryan was very helpfull in diagnosing the problem for me. I'll be attempting the repair sometime this week. Its not an engine-out job, but it does look like it will quite a pig to get to the bolts to replace the gasket.

Welcome :) Mot - A Yearly test done on all cars 4 years and older. Its basically a yearly Safety check. SVA - A more thourough test thats required on all Imported cars that less than 10 years old. If you want to get a fresh import, there are plenty of reputable importers, and plenty of unreputable importers. However there are plenty of Zeds to choose from already in the country for sale. The SWB (2 seater) is rarer, but you should'nt have too much trouble getting hold of the right one. Insurance ranges immensely, and there are hundreds of insurance companies to choose from. Expect to pay anything from £200 - £2000 a year, depending on many circumstances (age probably being the most important).
