  1. £1000 to £1500 depending on wether you can source the parts yourself.
  2. Uk or Jap ? Standard Jap Import cruise wont work at speeds over 105kph/65 mph (or 100mph if u have converted speedo, or Uk spec (I think)) Otherwise look here http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ascd.html
  3. Have Datascan ECU diagnostics softwware running in my zed, and noticed today that one of the output displays shows when the car is in Neutral or ingear on a manual transmission. Could'nt think of a reason why the ECU would require this information, just curious really....anyone know why ? (its probably blindingly obvious, but I just cant think of it :slap: )
  4. Welcome:) Sounds like Starter motor has stripped some teeth. You can get hold of a replacement used one of one of the Breakers in Traders forum, pretty easy to replace from underneath the car.
  5. quote off website : "The Sport Wide Body kit for Nissan 300ZX is a good way to follow to turn your 300 into a real sport car !" Grrrr :slap::slap:
  6. ECU test : http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html (very easy, only takes a couple of minutes) Sadly, a common failure after overheating on the 300zx can be Headgasket gone or Warped heads. These would cause further cooling and performance problems. :(
  7. These pop up on ebay quite often. Its a generic pic taking from another website though. Can anyone who has bought these confirm that they are identical to the picture, in terms of materials and design ?
  8. Oopss, yep, that was a typo AUTO TT Gear 1st - 7200rpm - 48 mph 2nd - 7200rpm - 87 mph 3rd - 7200rpm - 139 mph 4th - 5500rpm - 155 mph (stock limiter) 4th - 6400rpm - 178 mph 4th - 7200rpm - 201 mph (Limiter removed and if you had enough power - In Theory)
  9. Although the Standard auto gear ratio's are capable of 200+ in theory, the fact is that the standard auto box would'nt be able to handle the power needed to reach those speeds. You mentioned gearbox has been upgraded - You should get some more info on what has been upgraded with it. Could be Oil cooler, could be ALC, could be a Fastroad rebuild. Highly recomend you get an External Boost Guage fitted. The Stock one is rubbish. If your on stuck Turbo's and stock injectors (again, try and find out as much as u can about wether these items are standard or not) you'll need to make sure your not putting out more boost than they can handle.
  10. LOL..thats brilliant. Got a collegue who is a complete Citroen (especially 2cv) nut so have sent him it ;)
  11. yep, low 14's for a UK(280bhp) TT 2+2. High 13's for a US(300bhp) TT SWB
  12. Mine does'nt really make any complaints about the Money I spend...but I'd have to admit that if she continously spent the same sort of money I spend on the zed all the time, I'd be the one having the moan !
  13. You'll need to host it somewhere extenally, then link to it in your post.
  14. I belive low-to-mid 13s is possible with that sort of setup, but as mentioned, a lot of it is down to technique.
  15. Lovely sunny day - defintaly perfect roof-off zed driving.......but I was stuck in the garden all day, trying to sort out the overgrown jungle that was threatening to engulf the house. :(
  16. this one ? Zcentre were/are offering a similar bumper but with bigger air scoops, think its called the venom. (Like Spinskys, and the yellow one Jaz had)
  17. this is interesting...so by either adjusting the BOV or cutting the spring, you can set at what psi the BOV's release pressure ? I was always put of BOV's becuase I was under the impression that they would go off even when making slight positive boost, giving the impression to outsiders that you were giving the car some stick when your not...but thats not the case. Cool :D
  18. Sorry to hear that bud, although if any more damage as been done (hopefully not) it would be a warped head, as they are quite suseptical to that after overheating. :( Best of luck.
  19. Nice colour. Some new rims and 99 Spec rear lights will really set if off. ..and integrate the fog light into one of the rear brake lights or reversing lights.
  20. MANUAL TT Gear 1st - 7200rpm - 43 mph 2nd - 7200rpm - 72 mph 3rd - 7200rpm - 107 mph 4th - 7200rpm - 139 mph 5th - 6400rpm - 165 mph (or 155mph at 6000 rpm with stock limiter) 5th - 7200rpm - 186 mph (limiter removed and if you had enough power) AUTO TT Gear 1st - 7200rpm - 48 mph 2nd - 7200rpm - 87 mph 3rd - 7200rpm - 139 mph 4th - 7200rpm - 155 mph 5th - 6400rpm - 178 mph (or 155mph at 5500 rpm with stock limiter) 5th - 7200rpm - 201 mph (limiter removed and if you had enough power)
  21. hmm..has to be 99 Spec or Strosek. But im getting 99 spec, so I'll vote that one
  22. I dont mind photoshopping the indecent bits out if u send them to me ;)
