1. Yes, I meant if you wanted to fit an aftermarket one, then you would also need to do some fabrication, such as fibreglass.
2.  I dont know what else to say
3. Some of the Z31 300zx models had a digital dash, but they decided to drop it for the Z32 as the 80's were over ;) There are aftermarket Digital dash consoles you can buy though, if you fancied doing some fibreglassing with it too.
4. Leave MAF connected to pipe/car. You just disconnect the old filter box from the MAF, and bolt the new Filter onto the Maf. Pipe-Maf-Filter
5. Have a word with either JohnDixon, MantaV8 or Friday (apologies if I missed anyone else). They are the members currently doing the V8 NA conversions.
6. probably only about 10bhp, depending on the state of tune, but its more the quicker spool and throttle response I noticed.
7. As above, the most common problem for vibration (particually from 40mph+) is the propshaft centre bearing...or the Rear gearbox mount collapsed causing the prop to be out of alignment. Bearing is about £120 and 2 hours work Gearbox mount is about £50 I believe
8. Glad to hear she'ss be back on the roads soon. Impressive floating engine. The force is strong.

I've been waiting for some venue suggestions on the other thread, but have had to make the decision myself and posted Meeting details here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=57710
11. Venue changed. New venue : Admirals Court The Marina Bridgwater (Junction 23 M5) TA6 3EX (if you want to look up directions) Time : 12pm http://www.pubinnguide.com/pubdetails.asp?id=51740 Sunday October 16th Torquay, Devon The Plan for this month is a centrally located South West Meet, to make it easier for all of us to meet up. Meeting point - 1pm Easy to find place along Main Road(A3022) into Torquay. Halfords Torre Station, Newton Road Torquay, Devon TQ2 5EU Map From there we will then move onto a Pub along the Beach front (Im just waiting on the Address of chosen pub from a friend). Will post exact details asap. For those coming from Bristol area, we can meet at the Puriton Inn Car Park, Puriton (just of Junction 23 M5) at 12pm and convoy to TorquayMap Those coming from South of Torquay, may want to arrange a Meeting point for convoying there too ? Add your names. (also let me know if meeting at Puriton Inn or Cornwall meeting point first) Legrath
12. Optimax only for me. Have used regular unleaded twice when fuel light was on and was nowhere near a shell. However the car is noticably quicker with optimax and returns higher fuel economy, so anything else is false economy really. In back of my manual it says a rating of at least 95 Ron for Europe, and if thats not available 91 RON can be used tempoarily if you avoid full throttle and mix it will half a tank of 95 Ron. !
13. We used to have Club Insurance through "Houghtons", but this was cancelled about 6 months ago (due to their policy changes I believe). Im not sure if we ever sorted a replacement ?
14. no thats true. The timing only starts once you cross the line.
15. Happy Birthday :duffer::duffer::duffer:
16. Its the best spoiler you can buy ofcourse ! :D 99spec
17. if you like it, then go for it. I'd suggest doing soem reading up on it first though, it may change your mind ;) I'll say no more other than that its the one of the reasons the Z32 image is tainted, becuase it shares the same name, despite being a completley new car. Get a 240z instead !
18. It also depends on wether its an original bumper (easy bolt on fitment) or a fibreglass aftermarket bumper (will requires lots of prepping to ensure proper fitment and finish)

dont save....get a Big Fat loan  (wonder why I never got the job of a financial advisor)
20. As above...Evo stick instant contact adhesive...solvent version. I Found no need to remove old glue.
21. Its cheap, its just a generic form filter, with a Z32 Maf fitment. You cant gaurantee its flow charcteristics. Personall I'd pay more(Apexi kits from DTA are about £95) for a proven/tested product.
22. Thats the Civic, its quicker than the Accord I believe ? although the Civic type-r 0-60 is a good second slower 0-60 than a stock zed, so dont see how it can match a stock zed for 1/4 mile ?
23. Depends if your after engine-decoration or suspension improvement ;)
24. Anyone checked out Googles new Video search engine. Its brilliant. Video's just play instantly ! http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=top+gear
25. Bob, by the looks of it you are a subscribed member though ?
