ah yes, I did'nt read that correcly. Guess we have some confusion on which you mean. Z31 : 1984 - 1989 (BHP stats above, not really covered by this club) Z32 : 1989 - 2000 (covered by this club) Both cars are VERY different to one-another.

You can just get away with fitting an Uprated NA clutch. I would speak to Smithy to see what he can supply. But otherwise the differences are that the TT has a larger Clutch and flywheel, and the TT gearbox has large bell housing to accomodate them.

If distance is a concern, bear in mind its only about 45mins from me, and Im about 25mins from bristol motorway junction.

Not entirely sure of your motives or reasons for an engine swap on a Metro, but surely out of all the cars you could spend money and time on, why a metro ? Once you've sorted out a decent engine....your still left with the rest of the car and all its many faults. David (Metro Hater).

Pretty sure UK and Jap spec headlights are identical, including brightness, except for the bulb fitment type ?

I believe its 5x 501 Type bulbs.

FYI - With the Speedo dials lit up with blue LED lighting, the red/orange needles are not going to show up very well at night, as the blue light will have trouble travelling through the needles. Im looking to do the same, with blue lighting, but every pic I've seen shows the Needles barely visible if visible at all at night :(
