You can get in more trouble for having illegal number plates than having no plate at all ! (and ofcourse you only have to say that it only just fell off ;))

help me with this riddle
Each number is Multipled by 5, then 5 is subtracted to get the next number. 4 x 5 -5 = 15 15 x 5 -5 = 70 70 x 5 -5 = 345 345 x 5 -5 = 1720

Golf GTi
Think he meant Older Mk3 Gti's were slower than Mk3 Gti's..which is true as the early ones were 8v (and pathetically slow), later Mk3 Gti's 16v.

Found a car.
no, its just that cars dont rust in japan (due to weather, and not using salt on roads). Jap's Imported to the UK will rust eventually, its just that UK cars have been here for over 15 years already. Leather was optional on Japs, but standard(i think) on UK cars.

Nov SW Meet - Haynes Motor Museum
It may also be worth mentioning that Haynes, have a Private test track. Its available for hire, on a half day basis for £150 (10am-1pm) or (2pm - 5pm). If we had 10 cars interested, then looking at a bargain £15 each. Its runs a only 1 vehicle on circuit at any one time policy, but that gives you the chance to put yourself and the car to the test without worrying about others. If we had enough numbers I could book this, alternatively we could arrange it for another day.

Found a car.
Whats the reason for UK only ? Insurance ? If Over 25 then insurance between UK and Jap is neglidgeable. I would personally pay more on Insurance if I had to for a Low mileage Import, over a high mileage Uk car (depends on how much difference ofcourse), but I only pay £600 a year now for my Jap TT (26yrs old, 4yrs NCB).
