  1. What a difference ! Looks great, bet your well chuffed :D
  2. Buy a Zed and fit a decent ICE setup in it instead ;)
  3. 300zx is not in emissions database. so as long as its older than 1995 then its tested as a non-cat vehicle FAQ: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27060
  4. Very suitable performance upgrades so far....next step should be Brakes and suspension IMO. But for engine performance - Then I'd say decat and Lightenened flywheel next. ...Then its gets expensive.....Bigger Intercoolers, Bigger tubs, bigger injectors, forged pistons.
  5. I like it except for the : Peugeot headlights (WTF !!) Front bumper side skirts rear arches rear spoiler
  6. Any more pics of this car......anyone got a link ?
  7. £4.5k on upgrading stereo or a Zed......you really have to ask !?!? Now is good time to buy, cheaper during winter months.
  8. any more pics, as the doors are hiding half the car (including wide arch) EDIT: spoke to soon, you added pic now :D Now, Im starting to like it. Any info on what kit that is ???
  9. There were NO UK spec non-turbo's Z32 300zx's. Uk spec is TT 2+2 only, everything else is import. I suspect they mean the older 300zx, the Z31. Which ended production in 1989. You may find UK TT cheaper to insure than an NA (becuase its an import).
  10. Boost guage is a little too far to the right (should be on the -14), which often indicates boost leak. No gaurantee though, as the gauge can be very innaccurate.
  11. lol..same, to the missus. "Its for Safety". She must think the car is a deathtrap as standard
  12. I've often done 200 miles on £30, motorway driving (80mph constant). Dont quote me on this, but I suspect that the TT will be more economical than the NA when your off-boost (eg. steady Motorway driving). Completely opposite when your on-boost though.

Have seen them (or very similar) fitted to zed(s) before. Although what gets me about that advert is that the seller in in the UK (isle of man) and is offering Free worldwide shipping on US Ebay  It going to cost more to ship them to the U.S than the price they sale for !

Really very sadenned to hear this news Martin, and a difficult decision for you all to make. Our thoughts are with you all. David & Abi
  15. http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/Alarm.htm
  16. you did wrong, they punished you....BUT its the way they punish you and the fact that everyone else gets away with it that it annoying. :headvswal A warning via email and subject altered would of sufficed, instead of you losing out on the current bids :( :( :(
  17. ECU Test : http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html
  18. Speed warning. Common in Japanese cars, possibly legal requirement? To warn them that they are exceeding the speed limit (about 65mph)
  19. ouch typical TT 0-60 will be around 5.5 secs in standard form. Thats a MASSIVE difference. Must be down by a good 100-150bhp/ibft. Have you done an ECU check ?
  20. I missed the program... how were the tests performend? what were the results? What was the test car ? Was it just done on "feel" or did they do timings ? Did they test MPG differences too ?
  21. Definatly noticable for me, perhaps less noticable in a UK spec as its not mapped for the higher RON as standard. Was also very noticable in all my previous performance cars.
  22.
  23. Both cars run a similar weight and similar suspension setup in stock form. Which one has the best tyres and least worn suspension is what will make the difference...and more importantly, the driver. Naturally you will be performaning any future comparison tests on a private race track ;)
