well in standard form its quicker or the same 0-60 than all the cars you listed.......and then once up to speed its much quicker than all the cars you listed.

stock figures : Twin Turbo (Euro and Jap) 280 bhp - 300bhp 283 Ib/ft 0-60 : 5.5 secs 0-100 : 14.5 secs 1/4 Mile : 13.8 - 14.2 secs Top speed : 170 mph + (Uk restricted to 155mph and Jap to 112mph) Although, Car and Driver in 1992 got the following figures from a Manual SWB TT : 0-60 mph: 5.0 sec. 0-100: 13.1 sec. Quarter Mile Time: 13.7 sec. A Exhaust, Intake and Mild boost increase will see a sub 5sec 0-60, and a 0-100 in the 12's. Although its not such a 1/4 mile orientated car as the Mr2 is. Its a lot faster at higher speeds with more mid-range pull than all those car's you've mentioned though. R33 GTST versus Zed. LOL. Tell your collegue he's clueless. There are only two good things about Skyline GTR's - The Twin Turbocharged RB26 engine, and the trick 4wd system. Neither of which the GTST has and everything else about the car is inferior.

Lots of stretching and cutting in the right places. Gentle heating with a hairdryner can help.

I'll 2nd what James has said, The M10000 nehmeiah is a very good board. I've been running it in my Carputer for the past year. Lilliput or Xarnac/Gain Screen. The Xarnac has better clarity in bright sunlight, but costs more. Wether you want a standalone screen for custom fabrication or a Motorized/nonmotorized in-Dash DIN unit will affect choices. 256mb is plenty. I would'nt recommend more than 512mb memory due to startup delays with increased memory. On board sound is acceptable, but there is a noticable improvement wit a quality External sound card. XP Home - Definatly, and then optimised and stripped down to get rid of everything not required, to improve performance.

Jap - H3c Uk - H3 The conversions is pretty straight forward. I've also tried various types of bulbs for better brightness with no success. Then I took my headlights apart and cleaned them...WOW...the difference is amazing. Its now as good as any more modern regular car!
