  1. Take somebody from this club that lives nearby..thats the best advice I can offer. Its up to you wether you go for NA or TT, but be sure to test drive both. If you went for the NA, I'd recomend the Manual gearbox though (would also recommend it for the TT!)
  2. Hicas (Rear wheel steering) and Limited Slip Diff...but not Traction Control. Quite a few people fit Adjustable Racelogic Traction control though
  3. Yep :( Low profile wide tyres + rear wheel drive in bad weather conditions, is a whole differnt experience to driving a regular fwd car...certainly more entertaining :D
  4. If you have worn shocks, bushes, hicas, tyres..etc then Bad road conditions with exagerate the problem further.
  5. You can select goodyear from the Manfucturer dropdown, although everysize I try brings them up anyway. Listed as : Goodyear EAGLE F1 GS-D3 Speed index - Z,X,Y(150mph+)
  6. I'd personally pay more for lower mileage. :slap: 4k on a hi-fi, each to their own I guess, but this is a 300zx forum, not what hi-fi forum, and these cars are at about the cheapest they are going to get, and after 4 years you've still got a top-notch car, not an out of date cd player :slap:
  7. The Traders ;) Chris@getgreddy and DTA I think
  8. Sorry Chris but....£15 difference between them and Goodyear F1's for my fronts - 235/40/17 ,except independent test by Reifenfest.com shows the F1's to have better dry and wet handling and braking, lower noise, more comfort and a better wear rate than the Falken 451's !
  9. LOADS here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=15950
  10. Except Insurers dont list it is as "300zx coupe" every insurer seems to offer different descriptions(as above)
  11. bruno has owned a couple of Z32's. One of which (possibly that one, but seem to remember it being blue) was being sold on here not long ago.
  12. Yowser replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
There is nothing there that is a 300zx! Just a fibreglass replica of the body. Be nice to own though :D Z31 had a VG30DET 3.0
  13. If it says 1990 onwards then its definatly a Z32. Each insurer seems to list them differntly. You should be able to find a reg number from autotrader or ebay. If you get stuck with them, then contact Admiral instead. Elephant are owned by Admiral, and I actually found them to be slightly cheaper than Elephant. UK Twin Turbo 2+2 Jap Twin Turbo 2+2 Twin Turbo 2+0 (swb) NA 2+2 Na 2+0 (swb) Sometimes Jap's are listed as Fairlady, sometimes the same as Uk is listed.
  14. Probably polyeurothene, which is nice for a Front bumper instead of Fibreglass..but with a rear spoiler I personally dont see the point in paying extra for it.
  15. Nissan (IF they still supply them). Although it will be a LOT more expensive and no different.
  16. Speak to Chris @ gergreddy. Its an exact replica of the Spoiler fitted to 1999 and 2000 model 300zx's...as fitted to my zed
  17. Dresscode Its fancy dress for you Si. The theme is "Xmas characters". You still coming as a Xmas fairy mate ? for everyone else coming ;), exact wording from the venus is : "Dress Code will be strictly - smart, smart casual dress. No Jeans or collarless shirts. Admission will be refused" Time Everyone needs to arrive for 7pm. (half an hour before time of eating). If later than 7pm it will cause delays for all. Its booked in the name of "Black" incase you arrive before me.
  18. was starting to get worried about you Nick....Glad your back on form :D
  19. Code34 is not detting. Code34 means there is no signal being received by the ECU from the Det sensor. (Det sensor or harness faulty)
  20. It will usually go into Safety mode and give error with det sensor after you have driven it and gone into boost. It often is Intermitent though becuase the error can mean that its the det sensor harness that has a bad connection rather then the actual failing of the sensor itself. Take her up the road then test without switching ignition off.
  21. 100% sure it cant be Inspected and re-registered ? seems a shame :( That would be a UK speedo in it.
  22. lol..any of the above near identical replies should help
  23. http://zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/detonationSensor/detonationSensor.html you need a 1 megaohm resistor.
