If it is a Veilside rechipped stock ecu then follow ECU diagnostics here : http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html When you say that there is a sensor disconnected on the intake, do you mean under the nose code by the Air filter ?....thats the MAF/AFM and would certainly explain some of the problems.

Welcome. Its going to Drive and feel similar to the Supra rather than the Mr2. They are both about the same weight and size(supra and zed that is). Although I've heard that the Zed is more enjoyable and has more character than the Supra. Can't comment personally. Stock turbo's are effiecient till 18psi, however stock injectors max out at about 15-16psi and the stock intercoolers aren't doing their job pass this point. Most run 14psi as a safe level on stock engine, turbos, injectors and intercoolers. (stock is 9.5 psi)

Marginally perhaps...but 20hp is'nt that significant considering the total output, and even less significant with a boost increase and 300hp+

definatly not...springs to weak..it cant hold the boost pressure. There is usully an adjuster which tensions the spring.

adjust it! It should dump when you lift foot of accelerator at boost pressure above 0...more audable above 2-3 psi

Nissan UK Brochure gave Auto power figure of 263bhp. But how much of the power drop is due to the smaller auto tubs or the different cams is anyones guess.

Magazine road tests showed the GTO and 300zx to have to near idential 0-60, but the 300zx was quicker once on the move (.5 secs quicker 0-100mph for example, 2secs quicker 0-130). Obviously has an off the line grip advantage but weight and friction disadvantage.

The software itself is about £15. The Cable is the expensive part due to the electronics inside and is around £50

TT cap should have no holes in either and should tighten up and click when fully tight. I dont believe there is a difference in tanks...I'd go check the difference between Caps now but its pi55ing it down ouside.
