SW March Meet
Sunday March 5th Right.....bit of an apology here, as many of you know I've had a lot on my plate the last few weeks, and have'nt made any March arrangements... Have looked into the two proposed ideas....Diggerland and Karting. Diggerland - They offer Adult events, such as JCB Racing. However if it should rain (which is likely) it would get cancelled on the day and leave us stranded. Something for the summer !? Indoor Karting - Most places require a deposit (£100) and space is limited. There is an excellent Indoor Karting place in Cheddar, but their only availability was from 7:30pm. Perhaps something simpler for this meet (its in 2 weeks time). - Meet @ Services, travel to Pub ? - A Curry night ? - Bowling, I can get a good deal on Bowling in Torquay any other suggestions for a quick and simple to arrange meet ? Locations needed too. Will update this post with the Meet details once we have decided/confirmed.

little carbon things
hmm..I imagine they would help with high speed cornering(while looking stupid)....on a FWD car.

air filter excess ducting?
I've have'nt checked the path of the air ducts but surely they force air through the ducts via the bumper while travelling at speed....and removeing them would reduce additional airflow to the filter.

Engine Limits..
No different, it costs the same for NA & TT ;) Cambelt=timing belt. It should be changed as part of the 60k service which speciaists charge between £400 and £500 for and includes other items like waterpump, thermostat...etc

Turbo times, boost controlers.....why such a messy look?
as per my post on other page ;) it fits in the standard clock position, if you dont mind losing clock (most headunits show time these days anyway) Example : (courtesy of James300's car)

Help - advice on Spec!
I thought you had seen it and it was like the non-digital type. Series 2 onwards looks the same as this but one of the buttons has a different marking and it does'nt show outside temp, just interior temp setting on LCD. You can set which direction the airflow comes from on series 2> , instead of ju automatic on series 1.

240z
Me too. Would love a nice 240z as a project car. Its all about body condition with them...handy with welding and metal work and it would make a great project. Fully restored versions fetch £8k-£12k

Turbo times, boost controlers.....why such a messy look?
I Like that. Very nicely done. Is that the standard sunvisor they are built into ?

Help - advice on Spec!
the car he is talking about has non-digital climate control, rather than series 2 controls. The non digital is very rare..I think it was for pre- full production vehicle so you may find that the car was once a Magazine reviews car...or one of the very first off production line.

Turbo times, boost controlers.....why such a messy look?
I agree, a proper full Din sized unit Boost controller & Turbo timer in one...perhaps with other sensor display like the Blitz sbic would be perfect. ..Until then a greddy profec B Spec II, greddy turbo timer ro blitz Fatt turbo timer are ones that neatly fits in the car, as they replace the Standard clock

What Colour
Its quite a rare, sought after colour. A Good clean and polish/Wax and I bet it comes up lovely. As for hard to keep clean colours, black is the worst :(
-
What Colour
Normally, yes, absolutely correct. But on a car like the 300zx....a respray to a more appealing colour would only increase value (that is based on the inner door shuts, boot area..etc being done, I dont think anyone would respray without having that done. Can get away with engine bay if original colour black(maybe dark blue)..otherwise its engine out too)

How much do you think I can sell it for orwhat should the reserve be on ebay
Im not sure anyone will be able to help on value here as the Club is for the z32, but http://www.zclub.net covers the Z31

Turbo Timers
Leaving a Running car unattented increases risk of theft in their eyes.

I still can't see why Poopras are 'that' much more expensive than Zeds.
