Hey Legrath
ahhhh...an Rx7 !!....I was trying to work out what was behind me, I could see it was a low sports car, but those rex lights always confuse me....everytime we meet each other its along the same bit of road, I should have known! LOL Its good to have a run with another high performance car, not used to cars still being there when I put my foot down !  Im on 12psi (jets) at the moment, boost controller going in next week :) yep, Fresh rubber - 245 front and 265 rear......Im enjoying the grip :) Last time you had a Black one ?

Datascan Speed Trial
0-60mph : 4.78 secs 0-100mph : 11.97 secs thats with a bit of revs(2-3k) and slipping the clutch. Still resulted in wheelspin all the way through 1st gear though and a little in 2nd.

Blue Flame & Rear Bumper / Skirt
I dont see a problem with any of them fitting. They all have large cutouts for the exhausts. and the Blueflame oval tips are average size. http://www.300zxstyling.co.uk http://www.zcentre.co.uk

Has anyone ever gone against a Porsche 944
The 300zx is over-enginnered, hence the reason for so much stuff you dont actually need. Autobox is a major weakpoint unfortunatly, although I doubt that many other manufacturer autoboxes could handle anywhere near a 100bhp increase which a well maintained zed autobox can. Manual gearboxes are very strong and over-engineered, except for a rare 4th gear syncro problem in higher mileages, but its a servicable part. Brakes could do with being bigger, but are not as bad as most make out. Most of the time they just need a good service. If you look at the figures, the stock Braking distances are still comparable to modern Sports saloons and Hatchbacks like Bmw's and Audi's, but not as good as your Modern High performance sports car. Suspension is over-engineered, but needs replacing at shorter intervals than lighter cars, thats normal and my Bmw 5 series was much worse for eating bushes.

Has anyone ever gone against a Porsche 944
I know your a big 944 Fan marcus, but everything I said was'nt opinion (ok, apart from the dated interior) it was the outcome of each Review test done between them. yours has'nt been the best example in the past and not reliable (maybe that will change from now on with the work thats been done), but the majority of Zed's are strong and reliable when looked after ;)

£30 Parking fine
I also take up two parking spaces if I need to, and sorry but f*ck anyone who does'nt like it :p I've seen the way people open car doors, and the zed is a wide car with no door protection strips. I usually park in the Mother and baby at supermarkets (only when I have the kids in the car), or if not then I park at emptier end of car park. It harms nobody, as I've never parked when a car park is'nt full of empty spaces.

300zx with chevy v8
The best people to speak to our John Dixon, Friday and Mantav8. They are all on here and have done V8 conversions are in the process of doing so, to there zed's. The Non-turbo rear Exterior differences were bumper design only. The NA has a different rear subframe, becuase it does'nt have the HICAS (rear wheel steering). Suspension spring and anti-roll bar rates are lower, but I would imagine you'll be upgrading them anyway, No worries with the TT drivetrain until your nearly double that power ;), there are many TT zed's running around with 500+ here and in the states.

Has anyone ever gone against a Porsche 944
I have a soft sport for the late 80's/early 90's Porsche (except the 911), but I've test drove a few, and know people who have owned them and they never lived up to my expectations. The 300zx offers everything that each of them offers, but its simply a much better car. Plus, a Porsche badge is better than a Nissan badge (to the mass public), but a "Z" Badge is better than a 944 badge :)

Has anyone ever gone against a Porsche 944
if it helps you make a decision, there are quite a few reviews of the 300zx vs 944 ;) Its a much older design. Old technology, dated interior, basic engine and suspension design. It knocked the 944 clearly of the Sports car Podium on its arrival. It was said to be a cross between the 944 and 928. The performance and handling of the 944, but with the comfort, ride and road precscence of the 928. There was also a review of it against the 968 (and supra, rx7..etc) where it said the 968 was out of its class and could'nt live with up to the others.

6 speed box
All Manual TT's are geared the same, the NA uses a different final drive ratio. The RPM vs speed I posted were accurate, based on gear ratio calculations. It really does sound like you have the NA gear ratio (which is a very rare upgrade). 4000 - 4100rpm should give 105-108mph

Has anyone ever gone against a Porsche 944
No, but there would'nt be much competition. The 944s has 208bhp, and the turbo has 250bhp, both slower than the 300zx TT.
-
6 speed box
Sounds like your speedo is out. 3000rpm should be 80mph , and 3500rpm is over 90mph (92/93mph....shows more like 95mph+ on typical speedo) ..or you have an NA or NA rear gearing.
-
OMG how could they?????
hmm...Maybe. Those 3 chords are the same, and that extract of vocals follow the same pattern , but its still just a small sample of the entire track, may not have been deliberate. When writing a song your ideas have to come from somewhere, even if you dont realise.

Exhaust Flames?
Running rich will not only hurt fuel consumption,. but performance too. Very Excessive Richness could was the bores of oil, increasing engine wear.
